I’m going to single out a business because of their commitment to quality service. If you have a Dell laptop that needs service there is only 1 place that I would recommend. The company is called the Parts People. They do 1 and only 1 thing: repair Dell laptops. (However, I did buy a part for a Dell desktop from them a number of years ago.)In 28 years of dealing with computers I have had to send in a laptop 4 times. Here is a summary:Best Buy—for Dell--repair unacceptable, machine not put together properly (about 22 years ago)Sony—for Sony Vaio-- repair unacceptable, machine not put together properly (about 14 years ago)The Parts People—for Dell—repair perfect (about 15 years ago)The Parts People—for Dell—repair perfect (now) BTW, it feels as if I have a brand new machine!I hope this helps someone because a lot of people own Dell laptops. They do not do repairs on laptops from other manufacturers.

Perfect. No need to go anywhere else
Needed a new display on my Dell 7591 2-in-1 touch laptop. Had trouble locating the correct part, and PartsPeople, especially Mike T was instrumental at locating the correct part (Dell was useless BTW). Ordered the part, shipped next day, got it 4 days earlier than promised. Came in factory packaging (I am in the business so you can tell machine vs human-based packaging). Excellent shipping. Mike was with me through whole process, and when I received part, it had two connectors vs the video they had sent me showing one. Mike responded by email to all questions with a couple hours. Sent me a written procedure from the service manual (no exact video for mine). Was able to do RnR is about an hour. Excellent support throughout. I would not go anywhere else. Price was as good as any I saw on the internet too. These guys are the best. I think the negative reviews here must be with some scam artist with SIMILAR names to capitalize on their reputation. PartsPeople are absolutely top notch.

pc-parts-people.de/ - Yes this site is legit but in my case they scammed me thru eBay, sold me the bad speaker , I've done the unpacking video and asked them to return me back 50% of item price like only 10€ but this greedy company doesn't wanted to solve this question with me, eBay "Protection Shield" - is also the real scamm, never will buy again thru this site and ofc blacklisted that shop for that , they even doesn't follow what they sending for you, just small advice guys : do the Unpacking Videos Always when ordering something Online .

I bounced my Dell 5570 off of the corner of my desk and cracked my screen. The laptop powered up so fortunately nothing else was damaged. I went to our local Microcenter to hopefully find a compatible screen. They wanted to charge me a $50 fee for 'diagnosing' my issue. WHICH WAS A CRACKED SCREEN. They eventually sent me home with an incorrect screen. I immediately headed back to return it and after spending quite a bit of time there I left with no replacement. I was a little bit nervous about ordering a screen online but came across Parts People. They made the process of confirming you had the correct part seamless and painless. I ordered the part and it arrived early, packaged wonderfully, and fit my laptop like a glove. I am up and running again and would highly recommend Parts People

The screen for my Dell XPS 7390 took a hit a while back, which left a slit in the screen. The replacement would be very expensive, so I tried looking for other options.I put an ordrer at PartsPeople friday and received the new screen monday, which is crazy! With the cost of the screen, shipment to Denmark and additional taxes for shipping it cost me around $180 in total, which was way cheaper than the pricing here.The replacement went well - So a big thanks to PartsPeople.

I ordered a replacement screen for my daughter's laptop and it was a perfect fit. Being able to enter my service tag and have the assurance it will fit the device, I shopped with confidence and felt completely secure spending $200+ with them.The item was sold as "refurbished," but there wasn't a single scuff or scratch on it - and I checked thoroughly! The item's packaging was thoughtful & appropriate to protect in transit, yet still wasn't a nightmare to unwrap and unbox.While I've handled many computer repairs, I've never had to replace a screen. I didn't have to search YT for instructions - no, the removal/installation process was simplified since there was a walkthrough on its product page, produced by their team.Customer support is extremely important, especially in new business relationships. Orderd an refurbished display for my DELL XPS 13 9370 on wednesday, late evening. At that time it must have been about late morning in Austin and got it deliverd on friday to Austria, Vienna.Changing was no problem, if you know what you are doing and works without any problems. Price including shipping was absolutely fair.

I needed a replacement backlit keyboard and a bezel trim for an older Dell M4600 Precision laptop - and they had both. Parts look and feel as genuine Dell parts and are definitely new, and they shipped them on the same day I ordered. On top of it, their prices were lower than for a lot of knock-offs on ebay where I have had some bad experience with Laptop parts before. Highly recommended!
