I hired Reindeer Auto Relocation to do…

I hired Reindeer Auto Relocation to do two things for me and they failed at bothReindeer was supposed to handle the logistics of my car relocation which involved both sea and land and delivery of my car to my residence. The day of the delivery, I received a call from the truck driver stating that I had to pick up my car about 3 miles from my house eventhough I had contracted and paid for a home delivery. I am in my mid 60’s and we were under a 105 degree heat warning that day. I walked the 3 miles to pick up my car. After several emails, Reindeer agreed to make a nominal goodwill payment but it certainly did not make up for the inconvenienceReindeer as a broker was supposed to represent my interests with the parties involved with the relocation. After receiving the car, I noticed that my key fob was very badly scratched as if it had been thrown in a bucket with other keys. I alerted Reindeer who allegedly conducted an investigation and found no evidence of negligence thus declined my claim. Res ipsa loquitur (Latin: "the facts speak for themselves") is a doctrine in common law where negligence can be inferred from the very nature of an accident or injury in the absence of direct evidence on how any defendant behaved. The relocation process involved a thorough inspection when I dropped off the car identifying every damage and showing their locations on an inspection form. No damage to my key was identified at drop off. The key was within the exclusive control of the parties involved in the relocation. Finally, the key could not possibly have scratched itself. The facts speak for themselves.

Terrible company to do business with

Terrible company to do business with. They transported two vehicles for me from CA to TX and damaged both. My truck was fully running and driving when they picked it up. They moved it between transports somewhere in between and in the process completely destroyed the gear selector inside the steering column. They refused to accept any responsibility and only offered 50% of the cost of the repair for a "goodwill gesture". Do not trust this company, their employees and subs have no regard for your vehicle and have no integrity.

I had my vehicle shipped as part of a…

I had my vehicle shipped as part of a government Permanent Change of Station. Because of the nature of the PCS, shipping was done through a series of contractors. The vehicle left Los Angeles, CA and arrived in Hilo, HI. Within one week of arrival I had diagnosed a broken power-steering pump, broken harmonic balancer, broken transfer case bearing, water in the front and rear differential, and significant bearing damage in the rear axle.I had the car service 10 days prior to shipping, including and extensive drive train check. Everything was 100% operation and in good condition prior to shipping.I have letters from two mechanics in Hawaii attesting that the damage was most likely caused during shipping, either from standing water infiltrating into the axles and then a series of cascading problems as the drivetrain failed, or anecdotally someone doing some heavy four-wheeling and not knowing how to engage/disengage the system properly.Despite these letters and documentation they denied my insurance claim and said so sad, too bad.I am now at $4K in damages and incidentals.I have shipped this car to Hawaii twice before, both times out of pocket personally and directly through Pasha Hawaii ($900). Both times I had not had an incident.Under no circumstances would I ever use this company again, professionally or personally
