I Never Entirely Got What I Paid for and Services Were Expensive
To start with, I was informed that there was some kind of question and answer database/forum for clients to get them up to speed on how the entity structures and services worked. That never seemed to materialize even though I asked several reps about it. Most of my questions were ultimately answered, but some were contradicted either by affiliates/members of RLS or another professional they recommended. This made carrying out several business administration and compliance tasks difficult and confusing. In the end, there are still a lot of things I don't know because it seems like no one there knows actually how to run an RE business that makes use of their services. I was using them for about three years. In the end, I decided to exit altogether and dissolve my entities. This was also a confusing process that RLS didn't explain well, even though they are the ones who created all the entities I was using. They then wanted to charge 1100+ dollars to dissolve them, which is outrageous considering how easy the process should be (it is not too simple nor terribly complicated, at least for the different LLCs I had). I could go into greater detail but I'm just tired and glad it's over; it was pretty disappointing.

I was ripped off from their first call…
I was ripped off from their first call for $175 fee to speak with one of their tax strategists. He rescheduled 3 calls and finally he missed the third call and I'm had to call him. He offered nothing for my problem and I never heard from him or the terrible scam business again. What a worthless ripoff!!

Slippery, at best . . .
I had a couple of calls with Mark and Scott, who seemed reasonable enough, but the concept of establishing a private foundation so you can funnel in cash and then pay yourself an annual director's salary of $500K-$1 Mil seems a bit far-fetched to me. You get screened by some contractor named Edward Loslolo and pay a $149 refundable fee just to move forward with some sort of discovery call. But after realizing that the company is not a good fit and requesting my deposit back, I get zero response from Edward, who's gone completely incommunicado. My guess is that he gets to keep a cut of the deposits as his commission. Not a good look for a company that wants to appear legit and build its reputation. No wonder others think they're a scam. I'd stay away.

Promising, than it wasn't
Sad. Their Facebook video ad was compelling. I filled out the intake form. Got a call by a screener. Told me there was a $149 fee to watch a bunch of video's before I speak with an advisor. Oh well, i get sales funnels, screenings, qualifications, but this didn't work for me.

No response, refund delayed forever
Got a lot of my case settled but now they have. It responded to any of my emails or calls lately to refund the remaining amount in escrow. I keep getting replies that says they will respond within 72 hours but nothing. Before that, they said they will refund my money within 3-15 business days and now it has been a month and no response from them! Constantly getting the runaround with their bulls***! Don’t work with them!

Run! Run away quickly!
During the 4 years I was involved with them, I resolved 2 of my 5 accounts myself and a 3rd one involved litigation which they don’t seem to take too seriously or urgently. They actually referred me to an attorney in a different practice.

I do not recommend using their service
I do not recommend using their service. Too many issues to list. Extremely poor communication, unclear directions and follow up - bills you for a millions things after the fact.

Beware of hidden fees and a massive credit drop for almost no reward
I cant in good conscious recommend using their service for debt relief. I attempted to get a debt consolidation loan with a credit score just over 700, this was denied with the reason given as a too high rate of revolving debt, assuming the credit cards which I was trying to consolidate. But it was okay, because the lender had a partner who could still help me by negotiating my debts down and I could pay my debts off fast and easy then I can enjoy the fruits of my labor sitting on my throne with a great credit score. In comes Royal Legal Group. I will say, once we were already mostly through the process I definitely did see red flags popping up. So I blame myself as well. But here is my experience -They will leave out information about just how painful the program is to your credit score and how long the effects of that last. What I was told going into the program was that my credit will hit a "small bump", but then skyrocket as I pay off the creditors. My credit tanked from 700 to 400 and I am at the end of the program and my credit is still lower than when I started. They will promise great results. I started the program in March of 2020 with I believe 9 lenders totaling ~$36,000. As of today, I removed 3 of those accounts from the program entirely because I did my own negotiating(which in hindsight I should have done for all of them), with a new total debt in the program of ~$25,000. I have been paying $966/mo and some months I would double pay or more and I am just now maybe 1 month away from finishing all of the accounts. Royal Legal Group has saved me $6,818(Except they double charged me $1,600 which they are looking into and I expect will get credited back to me so I will not include that in my figures), which seems very nice at first glance. Another thing they don't mention at all are fees and oh boy are there fees. Not just monthly fees or maintenance fees or mailing fees or service fees. Any fee you can imagine being possible, it is there. In 2 years, I have been charged $6,282 in different kinds of fees. So overall when all is said and done I will have saved less than $500 because I still have a month or 2 left in the program. It is possible I will have actually spent more money than I "saved" through their fees. And I am putting heavy amounts of money into it, if you don't have a large income with good debt to income and you have $20,000 in debt but can only put in $200/mo, you will be paying much more in fees than the debt you owe by the end of the program.I will have literally lost money and gotten my credit absolutely demolished for the next 7-10 years by going through this program and if you cant afford to pay $1000-2000+/mo then it makes it even less appealing(somehow)Frankly it feels like I have been scammed/conned and I would argue it is in fact mostly a scam. But at the end of the day they do at least send some of the money you put in their partner bank to your creditors.Overall I would say this service isn't for anyone and to stay away, I highly regret doing it but once my credit was ruined I felt like I might as well just see it through to the end.

The young lady I spoke to was very polite and courteous. I appreciate her effort and trying to help me resolve this last account. I hope the negotiators and the manager of the negotiator doesn't drop the ball any longer than it has been. It is going on 10 months since my contract was up we are approaching one year I would like for this final account to be settled.

Better/More/Helpful Information on settlements
5 stars to customer service who are a great help every time and 3 stars max to the dept. appointed to handling the debt collectors. Communication and problem solving is key. I admit this is my own doing or why would I have reached out to royal legal in the first place. With that being said I recently got served (which I new was a probability) by a creditor that I owed $2,500. I had $1,900ish banked at the time with Global Holdings and had payment of $388.00 left to close out 1 collector. Could royal legal have paused on that collector and offered the collector suing me what was banked or at the least swiftly turned there attention to them once I made them aware? I have $1,500ish banked now that they can offer up and make monthly payments to. Maybe its simple stupid. Its so simple its stupid and cant be done that way, I get it but hey, at least tell me what's going on so I don't plunge into more debt or have to go to court. After sending in my subpoena I heard nothing from royal or my appointed lawyer. when I did call 10 days later I was told someone would reach out to me. No one did, my date had arrived to answer the court and my collectors, I had no idea how to answer. I had to google it just to get examples lol I've never been arrested or anything like that. So I spoke with the county clerk and asked the court and collectors for a continuance until I could get proper representation from royal legal. I told royal legal what happened and then a day or 2 later they appointed me a different lawyer. I reached out to them only to find out that they may be reaching an agreement but haven't heard anything since 1-27-21 from anyone. I just want to be better informed, I never get a call with an update. Keep me in the loop and let me know if there's something else I can do to assist other than give more money.

Royal Legal Group is fraudulent
Royal Legal Group is a fraudulent gang of crooks that lie and then lie about their lies. Phone calls are not returned and when I do call, no one has any background information about my account. Royal Legal Group claimed they had a settlement agreement with a creditor and mysteriously the last payment was reversed by the creditor. Royal Legal did nothing about it for A YEAR! Until I was served with a summons to appear in court. Then Royal Legal refused to honor the contract and represent me in the case, this has happened twice and is on going. The court when they found out who did this to me told me that Royal Legal has NEVER made an appearance in their court. And that I’m basically screwed.
