Uncomfortable and Scammy

I found that Signify Health seemed to be an obvious SCAM. It was very uncomfortable to have them in my home on every level.

terrible company

OK about a week ago I get an email from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama telling me it it time to set up a wellness visit with signify. Let me say this I say my primary care 4 times a year, I see 2 specialist, I do not need some stupid nurse to come out to the house to give me a wellness care visit and get into what my health care care providers already do for me. I called Blue Cross and told them I don't need emails like this. Well today I get a phone call from Signify health demanding I set up an appointment next Monday. I told that person no and the man got angry with me and told me I had to do it. I told him no. I already received a 2nd phone call from them and now I am mad. This is a scam, I am sure blue cross pays these idiots and they don't do nothing but they get all up in your business. I don't need more health care providers up in my business.

MONEY GRAB

I am a PCP and would like to lodge a formal complaint against this company. One of the home health teams ordered a heart monitor on a 98-year-old patient of mine. This is incredibly inappropriate. Of course she has a nonurgent arrhythmia. She has a 98-year-old heart - I would never have ordered a Holter monitor on this patient. It is not in line with her goals of care. It is completely a money grab. On top of that, Signify's team has no intention of following up on these results or explaining them to the patient. This is wasteful care and solely an attempt to get money on their part. It creates excess work, cost and stress from the healthcare system. They should be ashamed of putting a 98 year old patient through this.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, no explanation of what we were doing, literally had a stranger treating me like an Animal. Next time, I will go to the vet, this was contracted by my health insurance company, they are about to get an earful.

Terrible Company!

They gave me a 3 hour time frame that they would be here, and never showed. Then I received a text stating I canceled the visit.

Appointment no show

Signify Health called me and scheduled an appointment for a home visit as part of my health insurance. Scheduled the appointment and they did not show. From my caller ID, called them and they said that not only did I not have an appointment, but that they never called.

Incompetent scheduler and unkept promises of a gift card

I set up an appointment for a home health visit. The rep asked about my wife scheduling too. I said sure. The rep then mixed up all of our information so that my wife, who didn't want an appointment, was scheduled and I wasn't. It took 3 phone calls to get the account info correct. THEN, they finally scheduled my appointment and promised a $75.00 gift card. The person who visited was terrific. BUT, I never received the card. My wife then, promised a $75.00 card, made an appointment. The person who came out told her she had kidney disease because of a specific count being over 90. The fact is that count over 90 means things are ok. it's only when it's under 40 that that is a problem. She never received her gift card either. No wonder people are hesitant to schedule a healthy home visit. If this is the company who is providing services for my Medicare Advantage provider next year, neither of us will do a healthy home visit.

Signify is a Scam

The nurse who came to my home fraudulently put diagnoses on my chart that have resulted in me being denied insurance. I can't imagine how she could have made up such false information. It seems impossible to get a supervisor to return a call and one employee just mentioned that it could take 60 to resolve an issue. Signify is owned by CVS; as is Aetna. The whole system is a scam. Do not let them in your home.

A Terrific Experience

Horrified to read some of the one star reviews as I had the most amazing experience with Aldrin, a Nurse Practitioner. Yes, I was contacted by phone and a home visit sounded reasonable. At almost 66, I am in peak physical condition and in excellent health and even though I have Medicare, I have not seen a doctor in years. My first scheduled apt I had to cancel due to work. They were very understanding and rebooked me for a couple of weeks later. The apt was confirmed a couple of days out and I also received a message the day of that he was on his way. Aldrin arrived promptly, had legal ID, and was very professional. We sat down at my dining table and he went over everything a GP would ask. Height/weight/BMI, blood pressure, resting heart rate/pulse ox, lung check with a stethoscope, and even a cognitive screening. We went over vaccines and the importance of a blood screening and bone density test, both of which I will do shortly. His visit took less than an hour and it was certainly not a waste of time. Also, I was not 'promised' any gift certificate. For new Medicare recipients in good health, this was a marvelous experience. Many thanks Signify Health.

SNEAKY employers as well and do NOT…

SNEAKY employers as well and do NOT EVEN PAY employees they randomly throw in caveats and make excuses to not pay what you are promised after you have already completed all the work. They need to be taken to court

That 1 star is a generous

That 1 star is a generous! My husband and I scheduled an in home. His appointment was scheduled for 10am the NP reached out and said she was running late, she arrived 1/2 hour late! Once she got settled I stepped out for a walk, when I arrived home she was grilling him about why he wasn’t getting the flu shot. He explained that our oldest is a pharmacist and our youngest is a nurse practitioner. He went on to explain that the flu shot is only 10 to 20 percent effective and they determine (guess) the strain 8 months prior to development. She was very combative and told him he needed to follow the science and it’s too bad that politics influences our decisions. Her exam was over the top! She actually pulled out a scale to weigh him and a measuring tape to check his height! What! She wouldn’t believe him if he provided that information? Crazy! So the exam that would last up to an hour ended up being 1 hour 20 minutes! So she was a 1/2 hour late and spent almost an hour and a half on a guy that in the gym 3 times a week, plays golf, walks regularly, not overweight and sees his Primary Care Physician in addition to a couple specialists. I ended up passing on my exam even after she offered to do a “quicky” Not sure what Signify’s goal is. Seems like just another money maker!

Home health video visit was a no-show

I was scheduled for a video home health visit on October 24th, 2025. It was scheduled for between 2:00 and 2:30. I changed my plans for that day so I would be available and waited until 3:00. Before calling and asking when I would be contacted for my visit. I never got any straight answers and ended up calling several numbers, including my insurance company and Signify. I was repeatedly told that someone would be in touch with me within 5 minutes. They asked if I wanted to cancel and I said no. I wanted to get it over with. I didn't get any response except for a text 3 days later saying that my appointment was canceled and would I like to reschedule? I filed a complaint and was told someone would get back to me and it's been over a week and I've heard nothing.

A Signified Health nurse practitioner…

A Signified Health nurse practitioner came to our home and threatened my elderly father would lose his Medicare if we refused to allow them to give him an exam. I contacted Medicare later and they informed me it is illegal to threaten people with loss of Medicare. According to Medicare, people are not required to get medical care in the United States and companies are not allowed to threaten people with loss of Medicare. The nurse practitioner also threatened physical harm against a disabled family member living in the home. This company has unacceptable behavior. Signify Health is targeting the elderly. This needs to stop. Taking advantage of the elderly is morally wrong.

Misrepresentation, providing duplicate services, high pressure

Called twice pretending to be my health insurance provider, misrepresenting themselves as such.Offered me a 'free' in-home wellness evaluation, and could not answer my questions about the qualifications of the person that would be possibly coming to my home.Did not want to take no for an answer called me the next morning early waking me up again, misrepresenting themselves and trying to force me to certify personal information and medical information.I gave them several valid reasons why I did not want their services and they still called again!

If I could give a zero or a negative…

If I could give a zero or a negative number, I would. The Signify Health “online physical” is a complete waste of time and resources. The healthcare agents are completely under qualified and can offer NO a practical health information. In my case, they then violated my HIPPA rights and have caused stress and worry. They are a terrible company that is somehow leeching money from the vulnerable.

A "No Show" from Signify - Second time this has happened

Had an appointment scheduled for Saturday, August 16 between 8 & 9 a,m. Around 12:15 p.m., I received a text "due to unforseen circumstances, we will not be able to do exam - we will call back at a later time to reschedule." This happened to me 2 years ago, but they never sent me a text to explain what happened. When I called them back to ask why no one showed up or called to cancel, they just told me that they didn't have anyone in my area to do the exams. Signify never called back to re-schedule. Do they bill Medicare even if they don't actually do the visit? Very unprofessional.

HIPAA VIOLATORS

Signify Health is a useless layer in the Healthcare pyramid. I have Aetna Medicare Advantage. They asked me to sign up for an online physical/health assessment using Signify Health. I had my appointment on 8-4-25. Frankly, the Nurse Practitioner seemed uneducated and not experienced. After the assessment was over, the nurse IMMEDIATELY violated my confidentiality and privacy causing me great consequences. A healthcare provider who was experienced and properly trained would not have done this. Signify Health needs to follow HIPAA laws and stop violating patient rights.

Trying to schedule an IN-HOME Health…

Trying to schedule an IN-HOME Health Care Visit under my Aetna Medicare PPO for months. No response until recently a 7/25 scheduled visit. Last minute call on 7/24 cancelled the visit. Terrible support from Signify. Aetna NO Help!
