Love it will return on my next vacation

Love everything house is the same as in picture or even better if have everything you need big rooms a lot of room for a big crowd is close to everything you will never regret I suggest you to go an stay in this property you will not regret it my next vacation is going to be In this property. The only think that I did.not like was the rent of the grill I think a property like this one should already have this include it

Our stay was great

Our stay was great! the house is beautiful and well kept. However we did have some issues when the second floor light switch went off in the kids rooms and bathroom and they had no power for 12hrs. And we also had some issues with the direction of reserving the grill. My family was under the impression that the grill was included but it was not and we had plans to grill on Saturday and spend time as a family and we could not because we had to wait until Monday. Otherwise things were excellent. Everything was as described in the picture.

Our family enjoyed staying in the home…

Our family enjoyed staying in the home it was beautiful,the kids and grandkids loved the themed bedrooms,and the pool and spa. I loved the safety precautions taken around the pool,wish we had of had the spa heated. The house had everything that we needed and we would gladly stay again.will use star mark again. Thank you!!

A big mix up was quickly corrected!!!!

I would say our experience with Starmark was a good one. At first, when we booked thru VRBO, I was a little concerned due to the lack of information about the house we had reserved, etc. We asked for photos etc but was told the ones on the site were "stock photos" and they could not tell us right then exactly which house we would be staying in. That concerned me since I have dealt with owners on VRBO and what you see is what you book and get. Then, they basically stopped using the VRBO site to communicate and wanted us to go directly thru them which gave me concern. Once we received our final instructions and address to our house I was surprised to see our 14 bedroom 11 bath house was reduced to 11 bedroom and 9 baths. Well, our party was way to big for that as we had every bedroom spoken for with our large group of families. This is where it got better!! Deon in the office quickly recognized this error and set in motion to make it right. She eventually had to go outside of Starmark properties and booked us a house thru Reunion Resorts which was similar to the house we had originally booked. This house ended up having many issues, such as broken furniture, the alarm being set which delayed us getting into the house for nearly 2 hrs upon arrival at 4pm. The theater room never worked and was never set up to work as the technician discovered due to wires never being installed, so that was a bust for the kids and promised movie nights!!! There were no instructions on the kid alarm going out to the pool, or trash day, etc.....and they didn't have basic supplies or cookware for the house down to pizza or baking pans which we bought and left for the next people etc.The grill had not been cleaned in weeks or months as food was caked on the grates and grease covered the entire grill. Yes, I took pics. I can't honestly believe someone would keep a grill in this condition at a million dollar home. The cleaning company is obviously not doing their job for Reunion Resorts and should be fired. As we found trash and clothes in some of the bedrooms, food items left in the theater room. etc.The pool was dirty and after 3 days we inquired about service, which was done immediately and the other issues, once I contacted Reunion Resorts, they attempted to fix, but my main concern was making sure we were not blamed for the broken items or missing parts. Overall these are minor issues, but many that in my opinion could have been avoided if this house had been properly inspected and vetted before being placed on the market for rent. The address was 1248 Castle Pines Ct. Very nice big home that needs about 2 days to remedy some issues.

The check-in process was a disaster

The check-in process was a disaster. The email instruction for checking in to the property was inaccurate including the gate code. You need to fix this issue for future renters. However, the management responded timely by phone to get us in.For a positive note, the property is spacious, well-appointed and clean.

The place we stayed at was beautiful…

The place we stayed at was beautiful and welll taken care of. Definitely would stay again. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that on our last night there, someone walked straight through our front door and had our same passcode for their apartment next door. I hope they aren’t giving everyone the same passcode.

No Southern Hospitality

We were on a very special family vacation and Starmark vacation services were unreliable to say the least, and worst of all, most of our time at the house was ruined because I ordered pool heat, and it was turned on 2 days after our arrival. I made several calls, and there was no urgency on their part. We had pool heat for a little over a day, and I was charged $110.00...ridiculous. I called four times on Saturday to report cold water. The neighbors pool was 10 degrees warmer than our. Our compressor was not even running. I was promised that someone would be to fix it within the hour and that they would send me an update. Neither happened. Also, if you want t make a phone call , you must go outside. No service in the house. They don't tell you about this problem. We requested a pass to use the clubhouse. It was not in the house, so we had to call about that, finally got it before noon our second day. Also, very limited bath towel supply, and no wash clothes...had to go buy some. The kitchen was not stocked with items to cook a meal, all the skillets had broken handles, and the pots and pans were in such bad shape they would not have sold in a garage sale. The house was beautiful, but not functional. Beds were not comfortable...laid in a hole. The pool area was nice, but with cold water we didn't get to enjoy it much. Our 2 and 3 year old were not happy. Especially when I was quoted that the water would be 88-89 degrees. Our vacation was centered around the pool because of the kids. I have used VRBO for 15 years, and have never had a bad experience, only good ones, but this was a terrible, expensive experience. Not service oriented at all. At the very least we should get a refund for the pool heat!

My kids couldn't play in the game rroom…

My kids couldn't play in the game room because everything was broke. Not to mention i was told we had a Jacuzzi and it wasn't. The beds was hard but it was a nice area.

Our Stay

First night I used the oven....opened it up and there was a dirty pan in there! GROSS! The kitchen didn’t have some items so I had to buy them....used the blender for eggs since we didn’t have a larger mixing bowl...and they spilled out everywhere cause the blender was broke....was only an 8x8 baking pan...so had to buy pans while at the store to be able to bake anything in the oven. Tried to sweep...there is a broom head (no handle) and a dust pan....The master bedroom downstairs the sink and the toilet leak, so we were having to leave two of the two towels that were in our bathroom on the floor. I think what we paid for the house it shouldn’t have had these issues! The pool area was amazing though!

This is the first time I have used…

This is the first time I have used Starmark Vacation homes. Before my vacation I had asked for a refund for Pack N Play and other baby items I had paid for to rent as my daughter was no longer coming with us. I have yet to receive a refund and our vacation is over. Almost 3 weeks ago I requested this and received an email stating Will Do! Again still no refund. The Vacation home was nice but dirty. Garbage under bed and couch and there was a danimals yogurt container in one of the shelves under the TV that was full of mold. The directions in the home with garbage where the complete opposite of where the garbage was suppose to go and on the side of the house the garbage containers where full of garbage not from our stay. The clocks where an hour behind so clearly no one had been in the home since daylight savings. There was also a window upstairs full of mold. I am disappointed as the pictures of the house online show a clean environment and that's not what I received. They need to do a better job with cleaning and maintaining the home. They also need to provide the right instructions in the binder relating to disposal of garbage.

Convenient And spacious

This was a perfect place to stay! We need to be close to the convention center and it was literally three minutes away. Everything was clean and comfortable. The clubhouse is awesome and the running track is peaceful in the morning.

Terrible .......

Arrived at the townhome unit to a very smelly stuffy unit ... attempted to open patio door to let some air in and let the smell out, but the screen door will not close, completely falls off track. Was informed by Isaac at Starmark Vaction rental this unit has a hot tub and it does, however sign posted on hot tub states “Not for guest use”. Really??? Furthermore the patio was uninviting and unsightly. Unit advertisement stated this unit is “immaculate and pristine” this is a total lie. The bedding is disgusting.. nothing like traveling hours to your vacation destination to turn back the covers to find dingy sheets, stained and many “unknown” hairs. I’m positive sheets we’re not changed since you could still see wrinkled body print from previous occupants. Only a top sheet and a Hotel quality top coverlet which anyone that travels knows these do not get washed and this one definitely showed it .. gross is all I can say. Beds are hard and very uncomfortable in all 3 bedrooms .. husband ended up sleeping on couch. There were many “ unknown hairs on all other blankets in unit which I would not have let my dog sleep on. Pillows are flat and over used and dingy. Had to buy a blanket and pillow for the rest of the trip, which I’m having to leave behind due to flying. Now, on to the bathrooms .. master bath smells of something gross and the stand up shower was beyond less than desired with gunk and grime build up in door track that oozed out. Master bath toilet seat needs replaced. In the other full bath , pull back shower curtain to find someone’s dirty used wash cloth that was left behind. Kitchen overall was clean. But needs more cookware and utensils. Dirty walls in kitchen where someone obviously missed the trash can. No clocks in unit other than on stove .. no wall clock or clocks in bedrooms. Pretty sure this unit has never been dusted. The same car was parked in the units primary parking spot our entire trip, assuming its the units owners car .... very annoying.Note to owner of this unit ... UPDATE YOUR BEDDING AND LINENS AND HOUSEKEEPING . I would be embarrassed to expect paying vacationers to sleep in these beds. I’ve stayed in many vacation homes and this townhome tops the list for worst.

Great location but had some problems

Great location close to the Disney parks, but there were some problems. Finding the townhouse was difficult as we were not given the address of the guest check-in location. Nice home, but there were some difficulties that went unresolved while we were there. We paid extra to have the pool heated while we were there but the pool was not heated. We messaged and was told it could take up to 24 hours for it to get warm (again, we paid extra per day to have it heated) and it never got warm. Messages then went unanswered. We woke up on the 1st morning to a water leak upstairs from the washing machine (which we did not even use). We immediately messaged the owner and contacted the customer service number and did not hear a single thing from anyone the remainder of our stay. Outlets in the master bathroom upstairs did not work. Lamps in the smaller bedroom did not have outlets to be plugged into. After no responses from the host, we went directly to AirBNB to begin resolution.

The stay was great

The stay was great. I would recommend adding face cloths for each bathroom. The bed description was not accurate as well. We were told 2 queens and 4 twin, but it was 1 King, 1 double and 4 twin. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was ok

The house was nice. Location was convenient. Ease of checking in was great. Beds were terrible, noisy with any and all movements. Would not want to stay in this particular house again unless new mattresses were installed.
