The application fails to load correctly…

The application fails to load correctly and is riddled with bugs, I cant wait to see how big of a data leak this poorly executed program will have with all the PHI it is now collecting. This is yet another tool to deny benefits that are being paid for so that the PBM can have higher profits.

It’s creepy

It’s creepy. My husband and I both use this online doctor service. Every time he calls, he gets the exact script and treatment he wants. When I call, i’m refused basic treatment and told to go to the ER or my primary doctor. Well i’m home with kids and often can’t go to my busy and very inconvenient doctor. It’s supposed to be convenient. It’s under my husband’s insurance, (which I am under). They even blocked my account, because of a glitch for a year, they refused to fix after many calls. He’s treated like a king and i’m treated like trash. He works an important job. I got him through two degrees, helped him with addiction, bore his children, breastfed babies through pandemics, run his household, educate his children at home (per his request), helped him quit smoking, made extreme sacrifices to get him into his career, served as his unpaid personal assistant and ADHD coach, AND accepted his love child, (at last minute and late notice in our relationship). Hate women much, Teledoc? So, your CEO came from an incubator—not a woman— they’re dirt.

Bad for Your Health

Teladoc Health mental health services do more harm than good. Providers are constantly changing and appointments are constantly cancelled with very little notice, often as little as ten minutes prior to the appointment. I've had to switch providers several times due to a lack of availability and recently thought I had found a new, reliable provider. No. I met with them once, scheduled a second appointment and it was cancelled two days before. Provider is no longer in the system. If you need someone to talk to ONE TIME, it's probably fine, but Teladoc is NOT GOOD for regular therapy and can, in fact, be detrimental due to the inconsistency and lack of consideration. The psychiatrist I have been working with at least has been consistent. Hopefully that does not change.

I will not use this service again and…

I will not use this service again and would give a 0, if allowed. I was told (extremely sick with high grade temperature) by the virtual Teladoc doctor that I saw that I could not receive a doctor’s excuse except for the day that I saw him. I called this week (week of 23) to see if I could receive a doctor’s note extension for the extra 3 days of being out sick and I was told by the Teladoc rep that they had extended the note for an extra 2 days (per their own policy of allowance) and that they had reached out to the doctor to see if he would extend for one more day (3 out of the 4 days). I reviewed the doctor’s note online and it wasn’t completed by the rep. I called and escalated to a supervisor and they explained if I had called within the three days after being seen maybe they could have done something more after the supervisor decide to give me one extra day (2 out of the 4 days). I have consistently used Teladoc and that was the first time I had ever asked during an illness for a doctor note. SMH. I won't use Teladoc again.

Cyst on back of beck

Absolutely garbage i get a cyst infection every couple of months in certain spots, ive told them amoxicillin works best but they always prescribe an antibiotic that doesn't work and I have to deal with it myself, tonight I waited for over 2 hours to finally get ahold of someone, told him what was going on and what works and he wanted to prescribe me something that didn't work in the past and only made things worse even after I told him what has helped in the past, stay away from these people both my parents work in the medical field if you refuse to listen to someone it's just not worth what happens next, absolutely terrible serive and terrible people wanting to get the conversation over as quickly as possible.

Unless you have documentation they won’t help

Well it is supposed to support seeing a doctor when you can’t see your regular doctor. You are also supposed to be able to do refill if you can’t get a hold of your doctors office. Well I called for a refill on thyroid medication. Well first thing the lady ask is do you have your recent blood work and if you don’t I can’t help you. I was at work so no I don’t have it. She then tells me that with our it Teladoc won’t do anything for you and I see nothing on file that you even take goodbye. That was the whole thing. She was rude unhelpful and obviously did want to do anything for me. So put in a complaint and all I got was the matter will be taken care of. This happened over two weeks ago and Teladoc never got back with me about which I knew they wouldn’t. They were just telling me what they thought I wanted to hear. I used to use them a lot so I know they have records of everything. Will not use them ever again and would not recommend them to anyone. Deleted app. I will go to the er before talking to Teladoc.

Disconnected then disregarded

In the middle of the call, the phone went dead, and then a message popped up that apt was cancelled because they couldn't reach us. How? We were in the middle of a conversation. Restarted process. 2nd doctor called, didn't verify anything, asked 1 question, and said to go to urgent care for an earache. Wasted an hour for nothing.

I need a holder for my lance

I need a holder for my lance. It'[s been over a month since I ordered one and I still haven't received one. I tried calling, but after waiting on hold for almost an hour, I got hung up on. I try to use the chat on their website; it says "transferring to an agent," then immediately says the agent left. I give up. I would never recommend anyone use this inept company.

Sent the wrong medication…

The Teledoc physician spent two minutes on the phone with me for a medication refill. He sent the wrong quantity of the medication to the pharmacy. It has been a nightmare trying to get someone to call me back.

Beware When setting appointment

The company ripped me off. There was an issue with their site when I made the appointment so the type of doctor I needed did not populate. They set me an appointment with the wrong type of doctor and than refused to refund me the money for the appointment. Just be careful when you set your appointment to make sure you are getting in with the right doc.

I had the WORST experience this morning…

I had the WORST experience this morning with a terrible doctor who had the Devil may care attitude and bedside manner of a rock. I called for Strep throat, both ears hurt, cough, congestion, etc. I’m 53 not 18 I have had strep multiple times in my life. After taking my money the doctor literally said, “I can’t swab your throat over the phone go to Urgent Care.” SERIOUSLY!!!! An educated physician says such things? Clearly one cannot have their throat swabbed over the phone. But if you cannot see people for strep then why take their money and have them make an appointment especially when they tell you upfront why it is that they’re contacting you for an appointment in the first place. It wasn’t so much being told to go to the urgent care as it was the horrific experience of the doctor that I dealt with. I will never spend my money using this company again.

Not worth it for anything other than an opinion or antibiotics

If you want is the opinion of a doctor about some issue you think you might have, then go ahead and use it. For any serious medical topic or issue, go to an in-person doctor. This is specially true if your consultation requires lab work or specific medications that are not simple antibiotics. My consultation was for a dosage adjustment for a sleeping medication and the doctor wasted 20 minutes of my time to simply say "Go see a doctor in person, I can't help you here"

First appt Dr 40 minutes late, 2nd Appt Doc No Show

Setup first appointment, we both confirmed time via text messaging handled through the teledoc portal. Doctor never showed, but did call 40 minutes after set appointment time, so we did finally connect. Beware, you'll get a message 10 minutes prior to first appointment to respond to questions, that are mandatory.Doctor sent a prescription, which wasn't written so pharmacy could understand, so 4 days later, only after replying with messages, and multiple long wait time calls to the prescription team (not regular customer care), I was able to convey the message and finally get it filled on day 5. The pharmacy had given up on day 3 as they call the same number and I'm sure didn't want to deal with the long wait times. Now a month later, the doctor had set new appointment, doctor confirmed via text message 30 minutes prior to appointment, no doctor called. Next day and I'm now holding on the phone with customer service to see if they can setup another appointment (now at 40 minutes) without costing me for cancelling the prior appointment. She cancelled it, no idea if I'll be charged. We didn't end up setting a new appointment.

Underhanded and greedy company.

I made an account, scheduled my phone call. I filled out my questionnaire. The nurse practitioner called me and told me that based on my symptoms that my condition could not be treated over the phone and that I shouldn’t be charged for the phone call. A 3 min phone call total. The company charged me $89 anyway, when I requested a refund, they denied it. I called customer service and was told that the terms of service are that if I speak with a provider (regardless of the time) that I will be charged. Extremely frustrating. The only “solution” they offered was to file a compliant against the nurse practitioner that told me I shouldn’t be charged. No service was provided, and if they knew they couldn’t treat me, it was underhanded to call me and charge me just to tell me that.

Beware of billing department

I’m extremely disappointed with the billing practices at this facility and feel future patients should be aware. The office advertises that visits are billed as Primary Care (PCP). For my first six appointments, I was correctly charged as seeing a PCP. Then suddenly, the last three visits were billed as specialist visits — significantly increasing my out-of-pocket costs. When I contacted the billing department, Natalie was vague and repeatedly blamed my insurance company. However, after speaking directly with my insurance provider, I was told that the physician is listed by the physical office as a specialist — and only the office can correct that designation.I requested multiple return calls from a supervisor or higher-level billing representative through the patient portal and received no response. Instead, I was sent a bill for $175, which represents the additional charges from the first six visits now being reclassified. This feels misleading and extremely frustrating. Transparency matters when it comes to healthcare costs, which I had verified through my insurance company before starting this program. I strongly recommend that potential patients confirm exactly how visits will be billed before scheduling, so they don’t end up in the same situation. I would not let them keep your credit card on file. They back charged me without my consent.

Loved my medical provider - but billing nightmare

Loved my medical provider, but you'll need an act of God to resolve any billing issues. Teledoc's Customer Service is by far the worst of any organization I've ever used in my entire life. The absolute worst. It took me two months to get a billing issue resolved because you can't reach anyone. You have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back a week later. I happen to work and can't answer the phone any time someone calls and missed the call back. Time to settle in for another long wait. Apparently only one agent works the chat line at a time as well. Kept hanging up on me and refused to do their job. I was hung up on by multiple agents only adding to my frustration. When I did finally get to speak to someone, I was on the phone with them for three hours. Such a life sucking experience. Everything is great until you have an issue, then, good luck with that, nobody wants to hear it, nobody cares.

Don’t waste your time

Don’t waste your time. The “doctor” that called me back did absolutely NOTHING to help me. She told me to take OTC medication (gee thanks lady, I’ve been doing that for 5 days and it has not helped) for my chest congestion. I requested a steroid pack to dry it out and she lectures me on the side effects. I’ve had them before and the side effects are far less severe than what I’ve been dealing with the last week so thanks for nothing.

Yeah won’t use them again

Yeah won’t use them again! I had Dr Melissa Park as my doctor. She didn’t listen to me as I told her my symptoms she interrupted me several times and told me it was viral sinus infection and antibiotics won’t work even though I know my body and I’ve had several sinus infections a year an only antibiotics would help she said no not for viral and she sent me a nose spray with steroids that was her answers she refused to listen to me can’t stand doctors who think they know it all this is why I hate doctors. Not all are bad but a lot are. I used call on doc they send me antibiotics right away and listen to me.

Sales recording no medical service

Called and only got a recorded sale recording to sell me medical alert. Question if they really provide medical service or are only selling stuff. Are they a real medical provider?
