1) BEWARE--FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

1) FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! When you first look them up online, they say they will refund your money for a canceled trip. I had to cancel a trip overseas because of an emergency room visit. I sent in all the documents they asked for--including the doctor's form. Even though I sent (the beginning of Nov. 2025) in everything they requested and they sent an email saying that they received the forms, they kept asking for them again and again. One of the questions on the customer's form was do you plan to use the credits. I wrote that I HOPE to, but with all the diagnoses that I had and what the doctor wrote, I didn't know if I'd actually be able to. In fact, I did make a reservation for another time and, again, had to cancel because of another ER visit. They claim that the use of the credits is explained in the plan material all the way down on page 12. I would say most people trust what they are told to sign is correct and don't bother to read all that.2) This was going on for more than 3 1/2 months.3) They very specifically say that the documents must be sent within 15 months. What they SHOULD say is not to submit them until the year (of credits) is finished (because a person might decide to use them in that time). Or don't bother submitting if you might use the credits within the year.

Don't recommend

Still have not been paid for a single supplement I was charged when my cabin mate had to cancel due to an unexpected surgery. Endless paperwork sent several times. Going thru documents with a fine-tooth comb to find reason NOT to pay.

They are good at selling insurance but…

They are good at selling insurance but when things do go unexpected, they are no different than any other non-reputable insurance provider. Called and talked with their rep about our situation and they sure have their talking points down. We do this and we do that, and not once did she ask how my wife was doing or offer any solutions to the matter. I only tried them as they were cheaper than the normal company I use for travel insurance. Same old story, you get what you pay for!

Why buy insurance if we were not covered by a mistake made by the travel agent and Delta Vacations. Change not made by us

Partial Refund

A lot of back and forth over several months... I started the claim 6 months ago, and finally settled. Also, did not realize id only get 75% back until received...it was not previously mentioned, but I assume it was in the small print- misleading... I anticipated a full refund. Frustrating process and would not recommend based on my experience.

We didn’t need to use our insurance but traveling during nor’eastern with flight cancellations it was good to know we had coverage and my husband had a medical stomach reccurent issue which if it had continued we would have had to come home. It’s reassuring to know we have help if needed!

Waiting on Hold

I called to ask about the stipulations in the contract. As soon as they found out I wasn't going to immediately purchase a plan, I was shuffled to the customer service number. I waited on hold for 45 minutes, then hung up. If they can't answer simple questions in a timely manner during business hours, am I to expect they would handle a claim quickly?
