Avoid Ultra Europe Festival – Dangerous, Chaotic, and No Customer Support
I’m writing this review to warn others about the Ultra Europe Festival in Croatia, based on my experience. To put it bluntly, it was an absolute disaster and a complete red flag, especially for younger or less experienced festival-goers. The festival is dangerous, chaotic, and provides zero customer service, both online and on-site. If you encounter issues (and you will), you are completely on your own.From the start, it was clear that Ultra in Split was woefully unprepared for the number of attendees. On the first night, the general admission entrance was so overcrowded that it became a dangerous crush of people. It was horrifying to see panic attacks, fights breaking out, and people being visibly distressed. Staff were unhelpful, disorganized, and unable to manage the situation. I waited over an hour to get in, traumatized by the chaos, only to find there was no clear resolution or support once inside.The second night was even worse. The police were blocking massive crowds of people from entering, which caused an overflow of festival-goers spilling into the roads alongside cars. It was an incredibly dangerous situation, with no clear instructions or communication. After waiting two hours, I had to give up and leave, devastated and deeply disappointed. I attempted to seek help from festival staff at the information desk, but they were clearly inexperienced and overwhelmed. When I asked about alternative entrances like VIP, the staff (mostly young students) looked distressed and admitted they couldn’t cope with the situation. Their internet was crashing, and they had no communication with the management team. Even speaking with police officers yielded no solutions, as they seemed equally uncertain about how to handle the chaos. It’s shocking that a festival of this scale has such poor organization and prioritizes profit over safety. There is no customer service – not at the event itself and not online afterwards. Complaints are ignored, and there is no accountability for the safety of attendees. Ultra Europe is a disaster waiting to happen, and I can only hope people take this review seriously.For anyone considering going: **don’t.** There are far safer, better-organized festivals where you can actually enjoy yourself without worrying about your safety. Ultra Europe is not worth the risk, the stress, or the money.
