Purchased a used vehicle in December
Purchased a used vehicle in December. Still waiting on my permanent tag. All calls and voicemails have gone unanswered. My second temporary tag is now expired and still cannot get a resolution. Steer clear of this place.

Wesley Chapel Toyota's service…
Wesley Chapel Toyota's service department is Horrible. I dropped my Tacoma off 3 days ago and they said it would be ready in 3 to 4 hours. 3 day later and almost a $5,000 bill. There regular services are also outrageous. I had the same work done that they suggested for 55% less.Their own service advisor told me their prices are so high because of all the baby sitter help they employ.

Four days ago 12/16/24 I rated this dealership as a poor one and would not recommend. This was after I spoke with the service manager regarding my missing second row floor mat with a negative response. His response was we had no reason to remove the mats. Shortly after my visit with the service manager I was advised to escalate the missing mat issue to The General Manager, Mr Ray Desimone. On Dec 20 I received a response from GM who said they would order a replacement at no charge to meI only feel that I should post this because upper management did take responsibility for the vehicle left in their care. Specifics regarding this unfortunate incident can be viewed on my previous post

Trustworthy and Friendly Seals the Deal
Our 2024 Bz4 Toyota is our 2nd lease with the good folks at Wesley Chapel Toyota. Brad Simpson’s patience with our questions and Finance Mgr. Waseam Khalsa’s cheerful banter and comps to the agreement all added to a memorable and exciting day just like driving away in a NEW Toyota should be!

Purchased a brand new Toyota Tacoma
Purchased a brand new Toyota Tacoma - and within 6 months the truck had a recall- for rear axle separation - which was serious enough to require the vehicle to be exchanged- replaced. I paid a significant amount down on the truck at purchase and owed less than the current value on the loan. I brought the truck into the dealership at Wesley Chapel and they immediately took the truck from me, drove it to a back hidden lot, and sent a salesman out to coerce me to begin shopping for a new vehicle. I was not allowed to have my original truck back due to the recall - yet was not compensated for the amount that I already had invested in that vehicle since purchase . After spending 8 hours arguing at this lot filled with reprehensible, Machiavellian employees - I ended up forced to re purchase another truck - never received any refund from the recalled truck and to top it all off - they made errors with my insurance and tag transfer that cost me even more in fees and paperwork that lingered on for months! This dealership needs a seminar on ethical business practices and a long term course on how to properly treat the customers that they depend on for their very existence. Good riddance to Wesley Chapel Toyota. I will never go back there - not ever.

I’ve been buying vehicles from Toyota…
I’ve been buying vehicles from Toyota since I was 18 never had a problem. I traded in my Tacoma last year for and upgrade to a Tundra was beyond happy it has been one of my favorite vehicles and it is pricey but it was something I always wanted. Now mind you I am a disabled veteran and do not do long driving due to injuries and after one year of owning my vehicle and only 20k miles on the truck I was told today my vehicle already needs new tires which cost almost 2k I was told the tundra has recalls on TRD models which they are replacing all tires due to messing them up I was told that was my issue but because I don’t have that model it is not covered! Also my Tacoma had basic tires that lasted 70k miles I pay a bigger payment have better quality tires on this new truck apparently and after only one year I need new tires Toyota you have become a joke and I am truly disappointed you are not doing right by the customer I am truly lost for words at the quality of trash you put out now and how you don’t care about the consumer by any means you truly have killed my joy in the product you promote !!!

Today is Easter Sunday
Today is Easter Sunday. I went to look at a used Avalon at Wesley Chapel Toyota. Salesman George approached me. No pressure, no BS strictly business but with a personality and he quickly closed the deal. The man deserves a commendation.

Trying to sell a damaged 2019 Durango…
Trying to sell a damaged 2019 Durango with amateur style, poorly rebuilt front bumper, and painted with cheap spray paint, horrible bumper lines where bumper lines up with front quarter panel, rear end damage to back bumper with cracks and bent, damage to rear door panels on both rear end doorjams, crack in hood, along with chips throughout the body. All of this with a false carfax that says no accidents, the car was stolen, and the car clearly shows it was rebuilt without reporting it. Their appraiser overpaid at 47,000, and now the internet sales Manager, Victor and his sales rep, Kelsey expect the customer to take the loss with them, instead of realizing their appraiser made a bad deal, escalating this matter to upper management, and cutting their losses for what I offered. That's why it's been there 4 months already. What a shame! Not sure how this place has 4.6 stars. Must only be from the new cars they sell and Toyotas good overall reputation in general. Definitely not because of the false reports on carfax for sure!

Deception and dishonesty
Deception and dishonesty. After researching the vehicle online, I visited the dealership. The sleazy salesman had only been there 6 weeks, complaining that management had fired everyone “because of shady” practices.Well, I experienced their fraudulent practices firsthand. First, the online price was merely a bait-and-switch. At the sales manager’s direction, this newbie came back with a bid sheet $6000 more than the advertised price. The FL Attorney General’s office should be told of these scam artists. They’re liars. They’re dishonest. And, you should avoid this dealership.

What is going on with this company?
What is going on with this company?! One of their employees found kittens at the Wesley Chapel location, called animal control to come pick it up, left work took it to Petco to try to give it up, gave the kitten to me willingly at Petco (verified by cops on Petco camera footage) then the employee as well as a manager of this company proceeded to call the cops on me for "stealing" the kitten although there were multiple witnesses that confirmed the kitten was given to me willingly. I never even stepped foot on Wesley Chapel Toyota's property ever yet their employees stated the company planned to pursue legal action against me for stealing, made a police report against me and even threatened to call DCF on me?! What in the world is this company about and what are they doing while they are working? I thought they sold cars, not kittens?

I thought I purchased a car in Dec when…
I thought I purchased a car in Dec when I brought my pre approval from capital one. Capital one said they failed to finish processing the application. Then in March we got calls about coming in to finish financing. We thought it was scammer. Then we realize this dealership pulled my credit 7 times. After I said not to I was going with Capital One. I now hired a credit professional to remove all unauthorized inquiries becauseMy score dropped 45 points. When I came back to the dealership the finance associate disrespected my wife when she was asking questions. We got into a huge argument and I was treated like a thief. And they threatened to call the police because the car is now stolen. Then they raised my buying price by $600. It was the most distressing experience. They treated me like a dog. And violated my consumer rights. I highly recommend no one ever go here for a car. Unless you are buying cash or have your pre approval in hand and called the finance company to get a check in hand to bring with you to the dealership. Any other way leave you at the mercy of these crooks with unethical practices.

Customer service was excellent through out the process. Travis keep me informed as to what the status of what happened. He walked me to the rental area. I had forgot several things from my car and he had to make multiple trips to my car. He was polite and patient with all of my questions. I will recommend Travis to my friends in the future. I drive past two Toyota dealerships come to yours to get my car serviced. It is well worth the one hour 20 minute drive to go there. I am very confident when I leave there but all my issues have been corrected.

A nightmare
A nightmare! We were on vacation and everyone knew this? The rep mislead me, the parts rep ordered a part from Georgia (ETA 5 days) one was available within a 1 hour distance? The parts manager lied and mislead me. Made me wait 7 days while expressing my situation and concerns while on vacation. After the part was delivered they sent it back only to find another part 2 hours out? This kind of treatment to an unsuspecting consumer who put themselves at the mercy of these heartless misguided and mislead staff is appalling! All while patting themselves on the back for doing such a wonderful job, blaming me for the problems.Buyers be ware!

Unscrupulous busines practices
I’m in the market for a Toyota Camry, I had been emailing with Christine Rodriguez a “manager”At WC Toyota. I had spoke to Village Toyota and Sun Toyota. Village Toyota did send me a price work sheet and added about 2K for an advantage warranty. I was emailing Christine and asked her twice if they require the advantage warranty. She said no, all the fees were on the spec sheet she sent me. There were two charges on the spec sheet $699 for Toyogaurd Platinum and $209 for two USB ports. Went down there yesterday ready to buy a pre-owned car that was on their website or put a deposit on a new car. Kelly the sales person tells me the cars I found online are not available and they really don’t have many cars. She took my keys to “appraise” my trade and then came back with the worksheet for a new Camry with charges of $599, $599, $1595 all for extra warranty items they add. I said why are they adding those charges. I specifically asked Chritsine about that, she had no idea. I said no thanks, give me my keys back. I left and today emailed Christine this is what she said: We did not get into the out the door numbers on the vehicle. These items that were presented to you are not warranty items.I told her I’m not interested. I think with they should be upfront with the fees they are going to add, we were not discussing the price of the car only the fact if she was going to “require” extra junk fees that I don’t want to buy.I won’t be going back there.Tracie Trotter
