Very pleased with overall experience
My salesman was Carson. He was very professional. Answer my questions and worked with me until I was satisfied with the price. On the day of installation, Tristan arrived on time and I must say he is extremely good at his job. Everything done was very very professional. He truly is a craftsman and a very fine man.Randy

TOOK MY MOMS MONEY DEC 21st 2023-DID THE WORK MAY 17th 2024
They took almost six months to get started on the job. We were quoted 3 months max when they would start the work. They did such a TACKY job on my bathroom! They didn’t put the baseboards they were supposed to, the sliding GLASS shower door was dangling from the top of the shower, my husband had to superglue the bottom slider so the bottom glass door would stay put. It made me VERY nervous to have that big piece of glass just dangling there. (They tried to say it’s supposed to be like that.) this whole bathroom looks so tacky. I’m very unhappy with the work that was done. The floor is completely unleveled in the front of the bathroom. They charged my elderly 75 mother 17.5 THOUSAND DOLLARS for this shotty work! I’m very upset they talked her into getting this done and she took a loan out to pay them that she will never be able to repay. They said it’s two years interest-free, but by the time they got done with the work, she only had a year and a half of interest-free payments! So since she took a loan out, they were immediately paid. They had the 17 grand in their account, but they didn’t show up for almost 6 months to get it done and when they got finished, it looked like total crap! I wish there was something that I could do to. My mother doesn’t have to pay back this crap job work! A year later, the shelves in the shower are coming loose. I don’t think my mom should have to pay for this. She shouldn’t have to pay that much money on the loan loan considering they waited almost the full six months they had to get the job done. Like the title says in December 2023 they promised my mother that the job would be done sometime in February at the latest March 2024. They didn’t get here till close to June 2024!
This and That
What a waste of my time!
Sale rep spent 2.5 hours at my house and would not leave. Somehow the price kept going down from 22K to 12k after calls to the manager and mysteriously finding other discounts. Told them I wasn’t deciding today and the price went back up to 22K. Scam artists. Don’t waste your time but if you do, expect them to be at your house for a long time trying to convince you! Also don’t trust their initial price!

Had shower installed
Had shower installed, water mixing valve installed to far out . Works ok but looks terrible. Will not come back and fix it . So much for lifetime warranty because of faulty workmanship. Beware !

adding more problemss
Just adding to a review of 12/10/2024 about how bad this company is. My wife after taking a bath leaving the bathroom had the door knob come off in her hand. Great quality merchandise used. Great job with installing. Talking to their production manager does nothing. She states everything is our fault, they did the work prefect. Also they record all your complaints, and try to blame me to my wife, my wife to me. Don't sign your contract on a tablet. They play game with that to. Make sure you get a paper copy to sign.

Believe the bad reviews
This company tricked us into signing a contract so that I would NOT write any more reviews about them, and in return we could be reimbursed (to the home improvement card only) the money we paid out of pocket for the damage that THEY caused to our garage due to faulty pipe installation performed by their installer. That 3rd contract with them, was signed by us back in January 2024, and we were never reimbursed. They called me at least 3 times a day to get us to sign that contract. When we finally broke down and signed it, we never heard from them again. I only write reviews if my experience was great, or THE WORST! Bath Planet is the worst experience we have had, and we remodeled our entire house using multiple companies! The other companies all received great reviews from me. Minus the frameless door which they contract out to install (and is the best part of the shower), and the plumbing, my husband and I could have done this ourselves. Did I mention I had to fight for that door which they claimed I did not order. Do not trust this company! Bath Planet does not even deserve 1 star!

October 2nd 2024
October 2nd 2024Right from the beginning there were issues1. You gave us a price for $25,615 we refused and then a price of $14,524 who does that? We should have known better and not signed the contract, big mistake.2. August 5th First day, contractor was suppose to be here between 7:00 and 9:00 am. Never showed up and never called totally unprofessional, and I had to be at work. I called them they were clueless what happened but called later and rescheduled for the 9th of August. I got fed up and because of this and called Dan Curry said we want to cancel he threatened me telling me they would put a lean on my house and they were a billionaire company with good lawyers, I agreed to give them one more chance.3. Call at 7;00am installer would not be able to make it. Rescheduled for 8-11.4. Installer was suppose to be at my house at 7:00, didn’t show up until 10:30, came in and realized they didn’t have the right size shower pan and will have to order. They left. 5. 8-20-23 Installer showed up at 8; 45, they removed the baseboard cover and bent it that was never replaced, I also noticed and took photo’s that they used ½” plywood for the back and sides, I questioned them asking why they weren’t using green board for a wet area they said they always use plywood, Any videos I’ve seen of bath planet they were using green board. I noticed to they didn’t remove any of the tile; I felt they should have gutted that existing tile and used green board. The end of the day they said they were done and wanted me to finish paying and sign off I looked at the shower side and the panel was upside down and the grout lines didn’t match I refused to pay and sign.6. I reached out to bath planet 8-22-24, woman named Christian wondering when they were going to come back and fix the panel, I was told you pay and well come back, I also brought up the green board issue since its code in New York state and was ignored, and also asked how they were going to fix the panel she said they have ways and mean and would be able to remove it.7. phone call around 8:00 pm, person not making sense, notice a large van by our dumpster looking suspicious, almost called the sheriff, but he realized it was bath planet, they were hanging out smoking dope I could smell it, they were wondering if they had left tools and my house, told them no.8. 9-15-23 finally showed up with 3 workers none could speak English, instead of removing the panel they installed another on top which then pushed out the edge, see photo. The bull nose stuck out almost 3//8’s looked like hell. Plus the glue was smeared everywhere, you can see where he used his finger.9. Got hold of this Dave from bath planet sent out an installer to address the bull nose problem.10. 12-15-23 Discovered discoloration on the caulk and the base of the shower pan on the back wall and side, texted this Dave fellow, finally got back to me 12-20 said they would send someone out to address the issue in the next 72 hours.11. 12-20-23 installer out to fix the discoloration claiming it was from the marker they used to mark for the cut on the panel, bled into the caulk I disagree looks like mold. We’ve never had mold in out shower area.12. 7-14-24. Noticed the discoloration was back, took photo’s. Texted this dave didn’t get back to me only after I texted again 7-23. Told me someone would get back to me in the 24 to 30 hours. Never happened.13. 8-12-24 finally someone got back to me said they would be out between 8-10, no show no call finally someone called 11:30 said they had an emergency wouldn’t be out. Yeah sure.14. 9-19-24 A Jerry French called wanted photo’s and info. Will send someone out 9-20.15. 9-25-24. Sub contractor showed up at 1;00 a woman and man, they looked at photo’s and were appalled they believe the mold is caused by the installation of plywood which is most probably wicking moisture, were also concerned that they glued another panel over the existing panel instead of removing it and also not removing the existing tile and the use of green board, said they would not be removing the mold until they get direction, I gave her photo’s and my notes I documented. My wife is upset we have mold in out shower.Filed a complaint with the BBB got a call two day''s later from a rep, telling me they were going to gut the entire shower and put green board or hardy board in. they will be there Nov. 20th, no show no call called there rep again, apologized, said they would reschedule I told the no, I've had enough, give me me money back, said he would have this sup. call, never called.

I asked about the window before…
I asked about the window before signing, and he promised that it would be finished around the window. When the installer was finished there was greenboard exposed around window and the sides were not even. He told me to put some silicon caulk on top of the greenboard which would be ugly and waiting for disaster. I had to buy my own trim and have it installed at a cost of $500.00. This is what I bought for $12000 - stay away!

Scammers
First, I love the shower. It did take 5 days but I was o.k. with that as installer had family things that needed to be attended to and lived a couple of hours away etc. I think it is a two man job and needs to have people in the area but that is beside the point.I paid over $13,000 and $1,326 for plumbing parts. The third time the shower was used, the hand help part dropped on the flood, from the person sitting on the chair, and broke. Bath Planet wants 70.00 to replalce. I went on Amazon and replaced for $39. but the point is, I will never recommend this company. I dread what else will break and not be covered. Stay away from Bath Planet. Now you are warned. Scammers

Buyer Beware. Read all the bad reviews.
They scheduled an appointment and texted me 6 reminders. I sat waiting for the call for more than an hour, but they never called. When I inquired I was told that I had missed the call and the rep had left a message. What a bunch of BS!

CROOKS
They added in $500 extra on my contract and I didn't notice it until I received my "hard copy" contract in the mail. They tried to keep my $500 deposit but I did get it back from my credit card company after A LOT of hassle. F bath planet!

Very disappointed with Bath Planet
Very disappointed with Bath Planet. They don’t stand behind their warranty. Had a a shower installed 6 years ago and the floor is defective and they refuse to repair the problem. Beware if you go with this company, don’t make the same mistake I made.

OVERPRICED!!!
Moved to San Antonio last year and the house we bought was perfect except the shower in the ensuite which was a 4'x4' shower stall. Called Bath Planet for an estimate just to replace the shower. Their young girl Jordan came to the house, very friendly but well trained in what to say. The estimate started at $43,000, then went down to $41,000 if we did 10 different marketing schemes for them. I'm not sure what planet they are on but $41,000 for a shower replacement is insane, when I wrote a review on their site, it was removed within the hour.... Not a company I will ever do business with!!!

As a customer
As a customer, I urge anyone looking to work with Bath Planet to find another contractor or company to work with. They use very shady/predatory sales and business tactics, have low skilled low craftsmanship subcontractors and product itself is cheap and of low quality.Sales process:* Price of project fluctuated rapidly as salesman better understood our budget. Started with a 30K+ quote and "he was able to find discounts" to lower cost down to 13K for us. Later was unable to itemize cost of individual items and work.* Lied to use about financing options. Verbally asked if they financing was at 0% for 5 years as he stated, later come to find out that the 0% is only good for 2 years from the date you open the account, balloons to high interest after 24 months.* Sold custom glass solution to meet our needs, later to find out "custom glass" is anything not warehoused by BP. Product given was a $500 Lowe's door but added 14K+ do our original quote.Installation Process: (some across multiple days where we had to take off work)* Install 1 - Driver left installer at our home until 1230am, installer did not speak english and unable to communicate with him. Power tools were being used in our driveway up until 11pm to cut walls and piping. Did not install correct unit.* Install 2/Fix - Replaced walls correctly but shower head not secured to wall.* Install 3 - Replace wall, shower head still not secured to wall and now wall is curved. Glass door does not reach wall and water leaks onto floor. I reached out to advise we do not want any more of their contractors to work be in our home and BP offered us a measly $500 and then followed up with a $1200 credit (> 10% of project)At this point we will be paying BP over 11K$ for essentially a removal of our bath tub as the shower itself needs to be redone. If we don't repay by July of next year that cost will jump to over 24K due to the interest rate. Please do not work with Bath Planet.

Be smart. Check out the Better Business reviews
A representative from Bath Planet came to my house to give me an estimate for a tub to shower. He asked if he was my first estimate. I said yes. I sat and listened to his sales pitch for THREE (3) hours. I should have known that he was going to turn up the pressure. And that he did. I told him that I wanted to get some other estimates. But he kept pressuring me. I refused to give him a deposit but I did sign the contract just to get him to leave. The very next day, I signed the cancellation statement and sent it back by certified mail. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS of their contract states, "CANCELLATION: YOU MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION WITHOUT PENALTY OR OBLIGATION WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE ABOVE DATE. IF YOU CANCEL ANY PROPERTY TRADED IN, ANY PAYMENTS MADE BY YOU UNDER THE CONTRACT OR SALE, AND ANY NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT EXECUTED BY YOU WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING RECEIPT BY BATH PLANET OF YOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE, AND SECURITIES INTEREST ARISING OUT OF THE TRANSACTIONS WILL BE CANCELED. TO CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION DELIVER A SIGNED AND DATED COPY OF THE CANCELLATION NOTICE IR ANY OTHER WRITTEN NOTICE,OR SEND A CERTIFIED LETTER TO BATH PLANET, 535 SUMMIT POINT DR., HENRIETTA NY 14467." NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT 02/05/24. I signed on a Friday and sent the contract back on a Saturday. They expected it back by Sunday, February 5th. That in itself is violation of the Federal Law. Sunday and Holidays are not considered business days. Needless to say, I spoke with an extremely rude female receptionist who told me that I would have to talk to the sales manager. I told her that I have documentation showing that I sent back the contract in a timely manner. The sales manger left me a voicemail stating that the original representative would be coming to talk to me. The representative came to my house. (I did not let him in nor did I talk with him.) He stood outside ringing my doorbell, knocking on the door, and he tried calling. I declined his call. I not only blocked his call, but all the others related to Bath Planet. I have since contracted a different company who is nearly $2,000.00 less! AND the company has a much better reputation. Before considering Bath Planet read their reviews on the Better Business Bureau site.
