I dealt with 3 different solicitors for my matter until losing faith with the competency. My main issue has come from billing, I was told I had been charged incorrectly and it would be amended. 5 months later, Debt Recovery team are chasing me with a complete lack of knowledge of the case. I would avoid at all costs.
Yesterday, Tuesday 4th February,I phoned these Solicitors at about midday,about possibly using them in the sale of my Restaurant , THE BELLA PIZZA & PASTA, in Folkestone Kent. They assured me someone would phone back shortly. By today, (the 5th February), by noon I still had had no contact from them. So I phoned them myself, and their only response was to say they had ‘no availability’!! What an absolutely DREADFUL company!The staff were completely uninterested in obtaining a new Client. AMAZING !
I filed a formal complaint with this company. Their compliance officer (!) refused to send a PDF file to a bank so I could receive my meagre share of my mother’s Will following a clown-show of a probate dispute. She claimed she was “too busy”!! Bad, right? She wasn’t done being disrespectful, unprofessional and bare-faced rude: she actually hung up the phone (the fact I was calling from Japan compounded the disgraceful behaviour). The formal complaint was of course an internal job and a farce, covering their bases with shameless denials and obfuscation a toddler could see through.I’ve asked for a do-over. Unsurprisingly this seems to be a first review for this modest law firm. The litigation team were quickly out of depth in a commercial case, did not fulfil simple instructions, poor advice, wasted many months and thousands of pounds of unnecessary legal fees. An absence of good faith and client care result in a hugely disappointing experience.
