I ordered range parts for a Maytag gas stove. I wasn't sure which igniter to order as there are 5 choices. I emailed customer support...no response. I figured it out from a better supplier.I ordered 5 drum rollers for an Electrolux dryer and found out I didn't need them. I used their self help to set up the return. It says to wait for an email with instructions for return. It's been over a week and nothing. I called their customer service and it says they have no one to take the call...ridiculous customer support. I now purchase my parts I need from Reliable Parts instead. I will never order anything from PartSelect.ca again. Update: I finally got the return info after 11 days...we'll see how long it takes to get it processed and refunded.

Make sure you order exactly the right parts. If you get something you didn't need you have to pay to return it. The part I got costs more to return than the actual part. So disappointed with this service. First company I ever dealt with that has a horrible return policy.

Horrible company to deal with very deceptive. Ordered a part that said would take 3 days because I paid for the extra shipping we're now at 15 days with no part. I called the company to ask them what's going on and they were nothing but rude and sarcastic.

They make you pay for their mistakes
Ordered a common refrigerator part online. Entered my model number on the website prompt, which returned the part which they said was correct. It wasn't, it needed a return and re-order of the right product. That happens, but the disappointment was that I had to pay for the return after their website error - that sucks. I could have gone dorect to manufacturer, paid a tiny amount more (like $10 for a $300 part) and they would own the responsibility for the transaction - Partselect made me buy another part and pay their part of the return. Sucks.

False "same day shipping" advertising
False "same day shipping" advertising. I ordered a part I needed urgently, hence picked them given their same day shipping promise. Once I placed the order, the confirmation email said "ships in 3-5 business days". That's already a breach of trust. However, 7 days passed and no update on shipping. I called customer support, and they claimed they shipped the item the very next day after order. Proof? No proof. The guy literally said "you will have to take my word for it", and then blamed Canada post. I will be submitting a consumer bureau complaint as well. Don't order from here.

I find this business to have a pathetic…
I find this business to have a pathetic online presence. In the past I've searched for parts online (in general, first a Google search) and eventually results showed up for Partselect. Before it was for a Moffat electric range (kitchen stove). I was searching for an oven thermostat. The lead up to visiting the site was a stale dated link with description and when I visited the site, ALL parts for a newer model were noted as NOT AVAILABLE. Present day November 8, 2025 I was searching for a brush roller (agitator) for a Hover WindTunnel upright vacuum. Since there are a few compatible replacement part numbers I searched for those as well as the manufacturer's OEM replacement part number. Of course yet again, re-directed to Partselect. Out of the once available parts of 78 in total, upon reviewing every single one shown on Partselect's list, NONE AVAILABLE! Wow, so they don't actually have anything listed for the vacuum in question but do manage to advise "hey, you're s.o.l. but thanks for visiting.....maybe we can help you with something else in your household...." And yeah, since like most homeowners or even residents of any place we do have pretty much any appliance one wants or needs BUT from today on I will NEVER order a single item or part from this place nor will I ever click on a link that directs me to this site. IF you don't have any part at all for a vacuum like this Hoover (U5720-950...also shows as U5720950) then why the "BLANK" do you even have it referenced to begin with. Perhaps someone should update your website because all you're doing is making it known that CANADIAN suppliers really are this pathetic. Fact & FYI, the agitator in question IS available elsewhere at various price options and sometimes high shipping charges as well (it's a beater bar to allow one to clean floors and carpets and the bristles wear out since today's Chinese manufactured products really are inferior to what once was made in many places in this world). Do you really want Canadians to shop CANADIAN because if so, smarten up, you're making your company look like something that a 3rd world business would run.

Return policy not good
Yup, this company is a scam. Ordered a part a month ago. Opened the box. Did not even use the product because I no longer needed the part. 100% in good condition. I called them up asking for the status of my refund. They say it may take up to 7-10 business days and I told them it’s been a month so they asked for my return tracking number. I told them I lost the tracking number so they say they can’t help me. It’s my fault I should’ve kept the tracking number but I didn’t think I need to because I returned it in good condition so it’s with good faith they would give my money back. I return stuff from eBay all the time and they refund me my money 3-4 days with no q’s asked. Any excuses to not give the customer back their money.

They might as well not even have a return policy. Purchased a part early August which ultimately was not required for my washing machine. While it was indeed opened and put in the washing machine (but determined it was not the problem part, and it was not even used!) It was in complete resalable condition and I have no doubt that they are going to resell it anyways, despite denying me my return. Also, I paid $25 just to ship it back for this pleasure, and I had to call multiple times within the month because I had heard nothing in as long. I should have just bought from Amazon with the piece of mind of a no BS return policy. Scoundrels!(Side note: the lady on the phone I spoke with was very empathetic, and credited me all she could, my initial shipping fee of 14.99, but I was grateful to feel as though someone was giving a shit at this place).

Avoid back order parts and know customer support is terrible.
First order with Part Select (Canada) went well as everything was in stock. No concerns and loved that they were a great source for parts and information. Second order was a disaster. Some parts were listed as in stock but not for the full quantity needed and others were pending. I used the website to request a cancellation of the pending items and also I inquired via email about the pending items. After a week I finally heard back that they couldn't give an ETA so I requested to take their offer and cancel for a refund. No response was given. A partial order is shipped and I acquire the remaining parts elsewhere since I didn't know when they were coming and wanted to fix my appliance. One month later they decide to still ship me some of the parts (the repair is long done) and they obviously won't refund me unless I pay to ship them back. They also do not refund me for one part that wasn't received and according to their website order status is still being processed for a refund as of July 15th... I ordered through PayPal who unfortunately was completely useless in helping get a refund for the part that didn't ship. PartSelect just sent a tracking order for the delivery of the month late items and PayPal says that I received the parts... Also not impressed that PartSelect takes one day to respond to my PayPal dispute but can't be bothered to respond to my emails with them. As such be warned that customer support is none existent in terms of email support and honestly only order from Part Select if you have no other choice and do your best to only order parts that are in stock. Personally I am not ordering from them if I can avoid it and they have lost my recommendation as a professional engineer in Alberta. One star is too much for a business that is ok with not delivering a product but will take your money and make it your problem when parts are shipped more than two weeks after requesting they don't.

Partselect is the worst case of Customer Service that I have ever encountered and fraudulent at best. Initial response "Order Placed" then "Processing" weeks ago with no further communication. I began to follow-up only to find noted "Permanently Closed" on the site that was "processing" my order. This is particularly disappointing when making every effort to use Canadian sources wherever possible 🇨🇦

A human helped me every step of the way, from ordering to installation! The correct part got here quickly. When it didn't look like the one I was replacing, I called the 800 number on a Saturday morning when I had to install. A human answered the phone! Double checked my model # and explained that LG changed the design of this part (door sensor / latch) 6 times, and this new style would work with my machine. I watched the installation video, and only had to get an extra tool since my hands weren't strong enough to do one of the reinstallation steps. Definitely better than paying someone $400 to do it!!

I won't ever order from them again
They sent the wrong part and I had to pay for shipping along with the price of the actual item. Then when I discovered it was not correct, I had to send it back--AD PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING. They finally set me a notice that they refunded the part's price--but have not refunded ANY of the shipping charges! What a scam! Between the initial shipping charge and the return shipping, I paid well over what the part cost! Crap customer service as they simply don't answer your email when you tell them something they don't want to hear.

Be very careful to order the right part. They had the part I needed, but I ordered the wrong part by accident. They shipped my $27.93 part quickly and it arrived in good condition at a total cost with shipping and tax of $41.83. Since it was my mistake, not theirs, I was promised a refund of $27.93, and I needed to pay for return shipping. The least expensive method available to ship it back would have been ~$47. Therefore, I am stuck with a replacement glass shelf. I really only have myself to blame. By the way, they do not answer calls to phone number about returns. You are asked to use the online procedure.

I ordered my dishwasher part in plenty of time of me to receive it and install before Easter when we have a lot of people coming over. My part was delayed several times and when I finally received it, they sent the wrong part. Not only was it the wrong part but for a different appliance all together. I contacted customer service and it took a while for them to understand that I did not order the incorrect part. They are sending me the correct part (hopefully), I asked if they could next day it because it was their fault. They said because of the holiday I won't be able to receive it until next week sometime. Guess I don't get a dishwasher for Easter.

If I had the option of no star that's what this company would get. I had ordered some parts and then sent them back cuz I know longer needed them as they took forever to show up.. they had received the return on March 7 2025 and today is March 25 and I still have not got my refund... every time I call them I get the run around of give us 10 days, now give us 3 days. I just talk to the lady and now she wants me to wait 5 more days. This is bs. You have your dam parts now give me my dam money!
