Off to a great start with P.D.!
I'm approaching the end of month 2 of a 12-month coaching program with P.D. (He has different length coaching programs to choose from.)I've been totally pleased so far. He creates specific workouts and a complete meal plan that allows plenty of flexibility and only includes foods you are okay with eating. Sometimes I've followed the recipes exactly, and other times I've just made similar meals while still tracking overall macros, and I've continued to progress both ways. (And no, tracking or calorie-counting is not required if you just follow his meal plans.)He is super responsive via text message if I ever have any questions about exercise, eating, supplements, or how to navigate special events like birthdays and holiday eating strategies.It is always him personally coaching me and answering any questions, and scheduled Zoom meetings are also included for face-to-face discussion, which I enjoy.He also provides weekly teaching videos and handouts which I always look forward to.In my late 50's, I started out slightly obese, at about 40% body fat, with about 60-70 lbs. to lose. Two months in, I'm already down about 20. So far, so good. But the primary concentration is on leanness and muscle growth instead of pure scale weight; this program is more about being a whole body recomposition plan than simply a weight-loss plan.Me having come from a carnivore diet preference, this is still compatible with that, emphasizing adequate protein, medium fat, lowish carbs. But I'm losing more fat on this program than I was before. I know some of that is because of the emphasis on the importance of the workouts.The workouts are short, twice a week, and only around 30 minutes each, and there are NO long "cardio" grinds on the treadmill. I have found the workouts very sustainable, even enjoyable.I found P.D. on Twitter at the Venn diagram intersections of animal-based eating, intermittent fasting, low-carb, longevity research, short intense single-set workouts, emphasis on leanness for health, skepticism of mainstream medical advice, and the importance of resolving metabolic syndrome by increasing insulin sensitivity. I enjoy his frequent Twitter posts discussing these subjects. I've also read some of his books, which have proven valuable, too. I'm working on lowering my overly-high blood iron levels because of his longevity insights.I am already glad I went ahead and purchased the 12-month program instead of the 4-month program, because I feel like I'm just getting started and can't wait to see what progress I make the rest of this year.

Just Do It!
This program is so doable and when followed as directed, produces the results you want in spades. I would recommend PD to anyone who is serious about getting healthy. Gaining strength while losing weight is the key to youth and vitality. Pain decreases or leaves altogether. Confidence is built. Energy and sleep get better and better. Just do it! I am 60 BTW!

Can't recommend enough; lost 35lbs over 4 months
Fantastic service. This isn't just a weight loss crash course, its an education on the latest science/studies on general health, nutrition, and fitness. Completely holistic approach. PD was always available for any question that came to mind, and tailors his program to your needs and lifestyle. I'm a 40 year old busy professional with young kids and balancing this program was easy. Lost around 35 lbs (15% of body weight) over the program, while working out less, and being provided with a structured meal plan (enjoyed no more "whats for dinner tonight"). Most importantly, I feel equipped with the knowledge gained to continue improving my health going forward (and losing a few more lbs!).

Finally, something that works!
I found Dennis after decades of weight loss and hitting a plateau. I topped out well over 300 lbs and successfully dropped a lot of weight using primarily keto, but over the past couple years of trying keto and even calorie counting, I was stuck. I started a 16-week program with him at 246 lbs and by the end hit 222, 24 lbs after being stagnant for years! That's 1.6 lbs a week! I also am working out consistently twice a week, something I have never done more than a month or so in the past before trailing off, because it is simple, not time consuming, and he taught me exactly what to do. I never thought I'd be this size again
In my 60 years on this planet I must have tried every diet known to woman, on and off. I had a major change working with PD AND I've not only maintained but gotten even stronger and leaner over the next yearafter working with him.I went from BMI 30 (obese) to BMI 27 (overweight) working PD over 4 months and am now at BMI 24.6. I’ve been working with Dennis for a little over 6 months and I’m approaching the 60 pound loss mark. What he teaches makes perfect sense. The eating program is very logical and is not hard to follow. I’ve done keto and carnivore and everything in between and this is the only program that has worked for me. For instance, after I had been doing keto, he explained to me that while the low carb and higher protein aspects were important, keto had me eating a lot of fatty food and if I was spending all my efforts burning the fat I was eating, I wouldn’t be burning the fat on my body. So it made sense to do a high protein, low carb and low fat program. Since then the weight has been falling off me. And it’s a different kind of weight loss. It feels like I’m losing weight from the inside out. It’s hard to explain. He’s great to talk to about strategies for eating and working out. And the workout plan is also good. Before starting with Dennis I was at the gym 5 times a week. Now I try to do 3 times over the course of 8 or 9 days. I like going to the gym and although things would clearly work only going twice a week, he recognized that going helped my head and encouraged it. But instead of 90+ minutes each time, I’m out in 30-35 minutes at most and get everything I need to get done done (that time includes waiting for the kids to get off Snapchat and finish their sets). The meal plans are straightforward and I find myself shopping and cooking like I’ve never done before so I’m dialed into what I’m putting into my body more than ever. It’s satisfying food and the whole family can do it too, so we aren’t making a separate meals for me. The proof is in the pudding — almost 60 pounds in about 6 months. I feel better than I have in literally decades. BP medicine will be going away soon. Absolutely intend and expect to reach my goal. I couldn’t recommend Dennis more.

4-months in and loving it
My wife and I have been working with PD for a little over 4 months...excellent results thus far...down 40+ lbs from 260 to 219 and feeling great! It has been very rewarding for both of us as we watch the fat melt away week by week while also getting stronger. We love the educational videos and documents that are teaching us about improving our metabolic health...not a diet, but life-habits that are getting more ingrained by the day. PD Mangan is just a real no bullcrap guy. He will change your life and the way you look at food. The price is higher than I would have wanted as I just wanted information.However - he cuts through all of the bogus on YT and in fitness circles with genuine science backed information and his growing list of success stories at HIS AGE should be all you need to know it just works and it's low effort. I lost 47 lbs in 16 weeks. I could have lost even more if I'd wanted to. An hour a week in the gym and never hungry - exactly what he promised.

First, the bad... you will have to spend money buying new clothes that fit because the ones you are wearing while you read this will be too loose and baggy.On to the good... Coaching with PD is, and this is a literal statement, LIFE CHANGING. 48 y/o male, 30 pounds gone in 4 months, and still gone a year later. I think I'm gonna take 10 more soon, and I don't need PD's help doing it because he already gave me all the tools I need.My doctor said at my last physical where I got an almost perfect score on the cardiovascular health test "I don't know what you did, but keep doing it." I get remarks constantly about how I seem and look healthier. I am about to get a black belt in karate and I outperform many of the teens and 20 year olds in my class. Busy dad needed help
I am a 51 year old entrepreneur with 3 active teens. I have competed in 40 triathlons, 5+ years of CrossFit and/or HIIT, competed in World BJJ tournaments and ridden around the circumference of the globe twice on my peloton. I controlled my weight for the last 20 years with activity. If I was in the height of a competition, I would go from 200 to 180 and then back again the moment the even was over. It would take extreme effort to drop weight. This is all to say I was extremely skeptical that now that I am a glorified uber driver sports dad that I could lose weight by only working out for an hour a week. I was wrong. I was desperate to find a better solution than struggling with my diet because I started snoring so badly that my wife couldn’t sleep. I even tried all the SnoreLab gimmicks, potions and pillows and nothing worked. I was beyond skeptical but said I would try it for a month to prove I couldn’t be done. I’m 5’9” and was 207 when I started. I bounced between 195 and 205 for months before my call with PD. I stepped on the scale 3 weeks ago at 203 and serious about finding a better long term solution. I mapped out all the food and exercise and dove in. I haven’t been perfect but stopped all the bad eating habits and replaced with his. I was 189 this morning but have gone from squeezing into 36 in pants to a 34, having more energy, not craving more food and I haven’t snored in a week. If really ready to change your life PD will show you the way. While the coaching approach is quite hands off and method simple, its all focused on the highest payoff methods that reward your time and commitment while being fully adherable. If you can do even more than the basic and follow the full life changes that PD shows really work, you can change your physical state for good while not sacrificing any pleasures such as a nice meal with friends once in a while or a steak and glass of red wine if that's your thing. Stats: Feb 2024 age 39 5'10". 84kg, Arm 35cm Chest 104cm, Hip 105cm, Mid 100cm, Leg 66cm. Approx 28-35% fat. July 2025 age 40 74kg, arm 32cm, chest 91cm, hip 91cm, mid 84cm, leg 54cm. Approx 15-18% fat. Visible abs and no more belly for the first time in my life. Even have that v shape thing I thought only Hollywood trainers can get you. Ate pizza (real sourdough yeast fresh cheese) on the weekends but normally a protein fat rich diet of whole natural foods without much sacrifice and keep to a max 9hour window, some days 6 hours. If you can retrain your brainwashed self to see the poison that modern processed food is, it is so easy to give it all up 100% and live and eat like we were naturally meant to. That's what's so great about PDs approach is that it's not some super complex strict regimen but a whole philosophy that becomes part of your life when you stray from it you know something is wrong, and this positivity also spreads also to other areas of personal habit. I have adapted most of his methods to be done at home with simple setup of just kettlebells and a pull-up bar, while bodyweight and good bands keep me always on some routine when I'm perpetually on the road living out of hotels for months. YOU MUST BE READY. The hard work will be done by you. Some might find the price costly given the amount of free info out there but for me paying it almost like a commitment to myself and something I would not just give up on after a couple weeks like I had done so many times in my life with freely available stuff. Without any pain from non adherence then it's so much easier to make excuses and stall your own progress. Putting a cost and a time goal in front of you helps to keep the momentum towards it even if you stray a bit. Thank you Dennis, my goal when I met you was to be in the best shape of my life for my 40th birthday last week. It took about 3-4 months for most of the progress and then 1yr+ of maintenance since. Not only am I there but I'm going to be fit for the rest of my life.
