After the Company promised income of $20,000.00 from one of my books for a $22,500.00 investment they never paid and they never produced the two audio books I paid $6,000.00 in advance for.I am 85 and have limited finances. The took all my savings.I was trusting and taken advantage of.
I started writing my book many years ago and RESTARTED it February 2025. My plan all along was to SELF PUBLISH it and so many told me about AMAZON-KINDLE. I contacted over a dozen publishing companies, and I narrowed it down to a half dozen, including PRIME PUBLISHING LABS. I took to A/I and asked it to evaluate all the companies. It took them all and rated them several differant ways, knowing what I was looking for in a publishing house. I picked PRIME. Though, there were a COUPLE of "nay-sayers," in my selection of companies, I really thought that those people "had a bad day" and would likely never be satisfied under any circumstances. I first dealt with ALEX KURTZ; he was the DEAL MAKER. With Alex, I negotiated my agreement, to which I had incorporated two pages of requirements and clarifications. They agreed with all, in writing (email). Then he introduced me to SOPHIA BROWN, who became my CONTACT, and I thought, "Oh OH!!! The old push-off to ANOTHER one to talk me into something!" NOT THE CASE!!! Sophia, and all others with whom I was in contact, were prompt, professional, courteous, accurate, honest, forthright, fair, and VERY PATIENT with my constant questioning. TRANSPARENTLY, the book did NOT meet my planned launch date, (they missed by about 10 days or so, but I DID take a bit of time in reviews and the design of my cover. THEY NAILED IT. Everything I wanted was done BETTER than I expected. I wanted a PROFESSIONAL looking book and that is what I got.I would NOT IN ANY WAY have any problem using PRIME PUBLISHING LABS in the future.
Looking back, the service was useful but not transformative. It helped me get the book published and avoid mistakes, but it didn’t remove the need for involvement or decision-making. Marketing assistance was limited and didn’t lead to noticeable exposure. It’s a practical option if you want support, not a shortcut.
I published by book with them in January of 2025. My issues started even before publishing. They sent me the manuscript to approve, and I told them the picture on the back cover of my family was blurry (I provided them with a professionally taken photograph of high quality). They confirmed it blurry was on their end and then did NOTHING to fix it. They published my book with the blurry picture of my family on the back cover! It is very embarrassing that my family and friends bought my book and it is soo blurry you can't even make out who the family is. I contacted them right away to correct it and they said the picture quality wasn't good. It is a professionally taken photo! I emailed them two more times following up, and they never responded to me at all. Then when they did answer ONE YEAR LATER, they blamed it on an Amazon "printing quality issue" and refused to help make it right. I spoke to Amazon and they said the picture is blurry and is therefore not a printing quality issue. So now I paid to have a blurry book. I am soo disappointed. I will NEVER use this company again and I will never recommend them to anyone!

for my second project with Prime Publishing labs, I noticed a clear improvement. The communication was smoother this time, and i received timely updates without having to chase for answers.Their editing team again delivered strong results, refining my manuscript while preserving my style. Overall, it felt more seamless compare to my first experience.
