The ascent 18 brushless is garbage. The controller and truck stopped communication after 5 minutes of use. Tech support offered no troubleshooting solutions. Just told me to take more time out of my day to fill out a warranty claim. Way to ruin a birthday party, RED CAT!

Needed parts for a Redcat Earthquake 8E, and they're a little hard to find. This place had the cheapest prices on the parts, and I had them two days later.
Worst experience ever they dont reply on a timely manner and leave you stuck with items you don't need or get by mistake and there is no way to get a refund after sending the item back its been over 3 months and I still get get a refund or issues resolved dont rely on them they will charge to ship items back big lose dealing with them.
I contacted Redcatracing.toys and asked them to match Redcatracing.com's price on some clearance items. The clearance price was $6.77 from redcatracing.com per part (885026T/ 85902). They said okay and I purchased the same day. I order 10 items in total from Redcatraing.toys on 6-25-2020. Order was confirmed. 6 days later 7-1-2020, they send me an email stating 4 of the items that I bought (originally confirmed as in stock) were now magically out of stock and also out of stock on the Redcatracing.com site. The item is 885026T/ 85902 carbon fiber top plate made by HSP and rebranded by Redcat. Those 2 part numbers are interchangeable (same part) and have been since 2007. I asked if I could back order the item and was told by the CSR for Redcatracing.toys, that I could not and the part was discontinued. Low and behold, 2 weeks later they have the part relisted with a price increase at $51 and change. Basically, I informed them of the clearance sale and they bought the remaining items from Redcatracing.com, then raised the price. I contacted redcatracing.toys customer service to inquire about the switcheroo. Their replies were terse and succinct. After complaining to them yesterday (8-3-2020), I see they have removed the in stock status for 885026T/ 85902 from their website. Probably waiting to relist in a few months at the jacked up price. I advise you to buy elsewhere. I won't be giving my money to dishonest sellers. I wish I could upload screenshots to this review as proof of my case. Very disappointed.
If I could give them no starts I would. I ordered a wrong part and called them 3 times and e-mailed them on there web page which it says to do and still no response, like they say they will get back to you in 2 business days. I understand I would have to pay shipping and restocking fees, didn't care and was even going to reorder from this company. Never again. I am now stuck with a credit card charge and this part I do not need. They are the worst.
