Standing in a flood, "we don't cover water damage"

They had someone in Texas, that was at the time flooding, call to explain how my water damage was not covered. One of those "we only cover that if it happens on a Tuesday" type of technicality. Absolutely robbed me. only thing consistent about them is the bill. slow to answer phone calls and unhelpful.

Response to car accident

Travelers response to my car accident was quick, efficient, and helpful. I was very impressed with the manner in which they handled it.

I am trying to find a new insurance

I am trying to find a new insurance, travelers in very inflexible with prices, valuation of the house, deductibles. But there is no insurance that I have had good experience. They really do not care if you have several insurance, there is no reciprocity.

Travelers Insurance is a Fraud

I am writing to formally document and express my serious concerns regarding the handling of my property damage claim (#JAT7863) with Travelers Insurance, related to wind and interior rain damage sustained at my rental property located at 208 La Vida Nueva Del Oeste SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Despite providing Travelers with substantial and timely documentation—including dated photographs, inspection reports, video evidence, and relevant weather data from around the April 20, 2025 storm event—the company has repeatedly denied coverage. Their justification hinges on inaccurate assumptions that the visible damage reflects repairs rather than storm-related destruction, and that photo dates undermine the credibility of the claim. This is not only misleading but also fails to acknowledge the realities of post-storm response times and contractor scheduling. Furthermore, their so-called “independent” review failed to consider critical context and visible signs of wind-related damage, including the removal of membrane roofing that did not occur under normal wear or maintenance circumstances. Meanwhile, the property has sustained ongoing deterioration and financial loss due to this delay and denial of coverage. I have fully complied with all policy requirements and provided every piece of evidence requested—yet Travelers continues to stonewall, without any legitimate basis. I am now left with no choice but to seek outside help in compelling Travelers to fulfill its obligations and pay the full value of the claim under the terms of the policy and New Mexico insurance regulations.Sincerely,Moises Gonzalez

Cancels policies once claims are made…

Cancels policies once claims are made and doesn't pay those claims, even though the damage is clearly insured. Travelers has done this one three of my properties. I always pay on time. Travelers can't even be bothered to respond to inquiries about the cancellations. Total scam.

Bait And Switch Tactics

I received an online quote for car insurance and then called the agent to verify the quote. He came back with a higher premium because Travelers claims that I drive at least 14,000 miles a year. Not so. My car is five years old and has 23, 568 miles on it. I don't know how Travelers decided I drive 14,000 miler per year, but I believe this is a bait and switch tactic.
