If I could rate this company a zero, I would. Unfortunately, I can only give it one star. Watch out for Imane. They will claim that the apartment is clean upon arrival when, as a matter of fact, it’s not. Then, they place the blame on you and take no accountability, which seems odd for their grown age. They are deceptive and very manipulative in ways so they can keep your money. If you want to work with honest people and feel like you are going to live in an apartment run by competent individuals, then don’t work with this company. When you live in a foreign country, you want to feel like you’re in safe hands. Apartment kept breaking down and they ghosted us.

5 months waiting for my money - Unacceptable
Colocatère refuses to return my security deposit of €475 even though I moved out back in June 2025 with a perfect condition report. The law says they must pay within 1 month, but it is now November and I have received nothing. They tried to charge me for cleaning that wasn’t needed and now they are just ignoring my emails and registered letters. I have reported them to the Conciliation Commission. Do not rent from them.

This company is absolutely atrocious!!!!!!They never respond to messages even if the problems are very serious. For example, it's been a month since I moved in and I've never been able to use my shower. This has incurred several expensive costs which I shouldn't be paying as the problem wasn't my fault. And now the showers of my flatmates don't work either!!! They haven't been helpful in the slightest. The customer service (what little there has been) has been extremely unhelpful, impolite and slow. This problem is clearly very dire as it's a question of basic human hygiene and not providing an acceptable solution is truly horrific. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I rented a room in an apartment through Colocatere. When I moved in, the apartment had not been cleaned there was mold in both the fridge and the shower. Furthermore, the locks to the apartment were changed the day after I moved in, but I was not given a new key for two weeks.

Untrustworthy and blaming tenants for damages that were not caused by us. No clear evidence was provided and they are clearly just using the tenants as an excuse to repair the house. Avoid renting from this company.

Worst appartment service ever
I cannot recommend this platform at all. They overcharged me at the end, the electricity usage and water usage were way to high. They do not respond to emails. If you do not speak any french you can completely forget about cooperating with them. Our appartment had mold everywhere noone took care of that after we mentione dit several times. The ceiling in my room broke shortly after I left because of water damage. We had to pay their service people to clean a sink that we did not broke up. Terrible service, overpriced and a pain in the ass

This company takes advantage of foreign exchange students and withholds their security deposits. Estelle was a particularly unhelpful property manager / point of contact. We were told we would receive our security deposit back months ago and it never came.

The room I was given can’t be aired, no help whatsoever
The room I was given is not able to be aired, can’t open the windows there’s on ac. I have troubles breathing at night. I have contacted them the same day I moved in about the problem and send multiple emails to no avail. My agent from Livinfrance finally told me 5 days later to come to the agency to talk about changing the room (which the landlord agreed to). I came to both of them around 14:30 and neither of them were open. No answers to emails, calls and texts no help whatsoever. I need to find another place to stay as I cannot breath and was not informed before that the room cannot be aired which is ridiculous. I contacted them through email and through my agent that I want my money back otherwise I will have to take legal action.
