Best of the Best for Personalized service
I can not recommend Larson Tax Relief Enough! I was completely terrified of my tax situation and felt awfully overwhelmed by IRS notices. Mr. Rui Pereira and Ms Peggy Gulyas always took time to listen and explain everything in simple layman English and developed a simple, clear but manageable plan. They lifted a massive weight off me. If you are struggling with back taxes or any issue with IRS look no further - they are compassionate, professional and they get results. Randi Nix and Team was able to cut through the IRS computerized penalty notices, get $5K of penalties removed and bought me about 4 to 6 Months to pay down enough to negotiate an affordable monthly plan that would allow me to pay down my IRS Balance. This took a lot of pressure off my back as the IRS was sending seizure notices.

This company has been the best tax help I could ever have. Without Larson I would surely not be in business now. This is my honest and heartfelt review to let everybody know if you have problems this is the company to use. Amazing outcomes happen with Rui and Peggy!!
Rui and Peggy have been amazing throughout the process of helping me with my state and federal taxes. Peggy fought for me with the state, and Rui with federal. Both outcomes were more than I would have ever expected. To add on to their amazing work, they offer monthly monitoring, which I highly recommend, as most people who use their services have been in a place of feeling overwhelmed and defeated. The monthly monitoring will help alleviate the stress of any aftermath that could potentially happen once a resolution has been reached. Rui and his team were great
Rui and his team were great. I never used a tax servic before,so didnt really know what I was getting into. We made a plan and followed the plan. Rui or one of his team kept me informed or just checked in on me during this time to keep me updated. Everything they they said they were going to do, they did, in the time that was projected. They not only saved me money but also saved me having to deal with the IRS which is usually not a pleasent experience!

I'm giving it a 4 right now we have had a few hiccups my part/ their part. It's been longer than expected my part/ their part. It's still ongoing so I will give a final review as well. My team Rui and Mrs Peggy have been awesome through all of my ( personal health issues during this more than year long process) I have both state and Federal tax issues and my team Rui & Mrs Peggy have done and awesome unimaginable job with my state taxes. Don't Make the same mistake I did!
Hello!I was having tax trouble and hired Larson to help, and at this point I deeply regret selecting their services. To make a very longer story short, I owed taxes and I wanted them to help me reduce my tax debt and either get on a payment plan or pay if off in one large lump sum in a timely manner. That did not happen, do yourself a favor and make a better choice than I did. Read below for my experience. 1. I was told their services would take 3 to 6 months, but it was over a year when I hired someone else because they were not doing their job.2. They would ask for me to submit documents today and not actually look at them until 3 to 6 weeks after I turned them in.3. I provided all documents they requested in a timely manner and they would continuously lose them and I would have to resubmit them. 4. Often I had to fill out IRS forms I was not familiar with, and no one would help me look them over to confirm I did them correctly. I would have ask someone to please help me, and they still would barely do it.5. The second manager I had (I had two) continuously tried to charge me more money to finish the job, even though we were months outside of our time line and I had not received any of the services I paid for originally. He wouldn't even answer simple yes or no questions6. My biggest issue is my debt was not negotiated down on my behalf and Larson did not offer a payoff "according to my tax offer" I spoke with after I hired a new company.7. The communication was bad, they gave me no clear instruction on what to do in most cases and sometimes I would go weeks without hearing any updates. Their company also does not do a good job of communicating with each other.8. I requested a partial refund because of my overall experience and lack of services rendered, but I was denied. They basically told me what I was saying wasn't true even though it clearly was, so I just wanted to let other know of my experience so they can make a better choice than I did.

I got the sense that Larson tends to focus more on larger cases. My balance wasn’t tiny, but I sometimes felt like I wasn’t a top priority. With Anthem Tax Services, I never felt like my case was too small to matter.

Very Impressed
I can't express highly enough the appreciation I have for the girls that have been helping me at Larson tax relief!! Sandra, Kandace and Randi have gone way above and beyond to get things done for me. I'm so grateful for that in more ways than one. When the procrastination acts up they keep right on top of me with the push I need. I had to go back 7 years with the IRS and these girls have made it as smooth as can be. Years of Loyalty Betrayed – $20K+ Wasted, No Results, and Complete Disregard from Larson Tax Relief

Let me be clear: this is not a threat—it’s a factual account.I paid over $20,000 in the past 12 months, including $5,500 in 2025 alone, and received no resolution, no meaningful updates, and little communication. When I reported identity theft, a Larson rep laughed—an unprofessional moment they’ve never addressed.They now refuse to refund even the $5,500 paid this year, despite failing to deliver any actual service. If they truly cared about client outcomes, they’d acknowledge the breakdown and offer a partial refund at minimum.I urge others to read the 1-star reviews on Google, Yelp, BBB, and beyond. You’ll see this isn’t an isolated case—it’s a pattern. Over the last 12 months, I paid them more than $20,000 for tax representation. And what did I get? No resolution. No progress. No communication. If you ask for accountability, they’ll gaslight you, dodge responsibility, and blame everything on you.And yes—they’ll probably file a rebuttal to this report filled with more of the same scripted excuses they’ve given others. But don’t take my word for it—do your own research. Read the 1-star reviews on Google. Go to Yelp, ComplaintsBoard, BBB—read the worst-rated reviews, the ones that sound exactly like this one. It’s a pattern. It’s not just me.I only wish I had read those reviews three years ago. It would’ve saved me money, time, and a mountain of stress.

Larson Tax professionals guided me through every step that I needed to get 4 years of unfiled back taxes prepared & submitted. Not only was I able to get current on my state & federal taxes, I was able to capture a $41,000 refund due me from the last year that I filed taxes & with less than 30 days before the recovery date expired! My life was stress & anxiety before contacted Larson Tax Relief, but turned to joy & happiness upon receiving notification that my taxes were current & of course the the IRS refund. Randi Nix was incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful and most of all with us patient. The rest of her staff even the receptionists on the phone were professional and helpful.
