Lowest of the low

Lowest of the low. Both Pioneer and Sphere. The mission statement on their website states that they are a company that “Helps people in financial difficulty by offering flexible and supportive solutions to manage their debts”. Lies! I tried to explain my situation including finances and was literally told that any other debt I had was “not a matter of concern to our client”. They hold all the power and they are very much aware of this imbalance. For example, when I offered a starting amount this was declined… only for them to turn around a few weeks later and change their minds! God forbid if this was the other way around. They don’t care if you’re literally left with $20… they’ll take it all. They literally were willing to leave me with $20 to last 5 weeks. They said how I survived in the meantime was not their problem… and it’s true because if I had of died due to not being able to afford food, they would claim their owed amount through mu estate. As I said, lowest of the low. They harass and bombard you with calls but when you try to contact them after you’re meeting them more than half way, they’re never available. They buy debt at a fraction of the price but do not care about this when they try to take you for 20 grand more than the original debt. They do not care about you or your situation. They won’t even send an email as this is a cost they don’t want to pay!! An email!! Sphere Legal lawyers also must be so proud of themselves… taking the time and stress of law school only to work for a debt collector company. How proud their parents and family members must be. Do not give them an inch because they will take a mile!! Call the national debt helpline before dealing with these scum. Everyone I spoke to at the national helpline said the same thing about Pioneer and their legal reps. They also take your story and add it to the list of complaints already made. The helpline gives great advice! And advice Pioneer do not want you to know!

$1072 to never set foot in a court…

$1072 to never set foot in a court room, $325/hr? wtf. Email $32 vm$65, wier $65, court time $325 lol. Cory Thein is a joke and I would not recommend him. Got the worst deal he could get and was even lied to when we first called Cory he said he would help him out and he had the time. The day of the court he said he had a trial.

Unethical and Sloppy Law

David Krotine represents my landlord. For six months I have been attempting to get my door secured. Today I received this email message directly from Mr Krotine. “ Knock me over with a feather. He finally admitted he was wrong on something and agreed with a solution. He does not need to have his other questions answered unless Kelly wishes to volunteer the information, but don’t tell him I said this please. “ Leave alone the absolute sloppiness and breach as a lawyer to respond directly to someone with legal counsel, you can see he is advocating for continued deception. We have had an unsecured door that resulted in my wife almost being assaulted. Despite telling Mr Krotine this and providing ample video evidence of all the issues, his goal is to continue to stonewall. If you are looking for sound ethical legal counsel, I would strongly suggest not working with David Krotine.

Great customer service.

As far as the customer service representative that I spoke with, she was awesome. What I really am frustrated with is the hold time. Last week I called, held and left a request for a return phone call twice. Did not receive a call from Pioneer. Yesterday morning, March 22, 2021 I called and requested a return phone call in the morning and never received one. Later around mid day, I called and decided to hold for someone. I held over an hour to hour and a half before I got the representative. Wow.... too long..

Frustration

I have called several times and spoke to different customer service and most of them were good, after long explanation the answer usually a negotiator will contact you soon and they never did, several times I waited hours online to have the problem solved, it has been several months and the problem is still there.Thank you

I agree with the last person's review

I agree with the last person's review. This company is terrible. There is a huge lack of communication. Noone ever gets back to you. I have gotten so much miss information. Someone tells me the accounts are closed another time they say OH NO it is not.I was suppose be done a year ago, had to extend. I am now still have one creditor open and I have been asking to close with pioneer and I will pay them directly. Again no one ever gets back to me. I just hung again and she said a manager will call me back we will see. Do not use this company

I have had a very poor experience with…

I have had a very poor experience with Pioneer. There has been a huge lack of communication despite me asking for follow up phone calls or sending emails. I have been given incorrect information and now I find that I will be done with the program in November as stated but still owing a company a large amount which is unacceptable. I have been garnished by the three largest debts with no help from Pioneer. I have had to call and remind them to make payments to a debt settlement company and no one even apologized for that. I would not recommend this company and wish I had never gotten into this scam. I will be following up with someone to look into this mess as well. Stay away!!!!

Excellent customer service! Kami was extremely courteous

Kami was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and confident in her ability to answer my questions about my account. She quickly and effectively addressed the issue and resolved the matter within minutes. Kami represents the top 5% of excellence in customer service. Kami and Tyler are an asset to and represent the company well. Tyler has been responsive to customer service emails regarding additional questions in order to clarify and support. Teamwork at its finest. I am taking the time to complete this review because this has not always been the case with other representatives over the past years. Kami and Tyler have significantly improved my opinion of and renewed my faith in this company and the program.

Disappointed in services

Disappointed in services. I called earlier in the month of May to skip that months payment due to lack of funds to pay both my rent and payment. On the 22nd noticed that the funds earmarked for rent had been deducted from my bank account. After a call was reassured that the funds would be returned. After several calls and three weeks later am told to wait a additional 5 days to find out the outcome. And will be subject to pay a late fee because of this error.

Even though I would not rate Pioneer as…

Even though I would not rate Pioneer as a five (too many problems in the program), I would definitely rate the young lady I talked to on the telephone today, Carina, a 5! She was extremely helpful and answered all my questions in a professional manner. She sent out the appropriate emails and talked to different people to help me straighten out the fact that I am ending this program. I have talked to several people over the past 4 and 1/2 years with Pioneer and she is one of the best! Thanks Carina for all your help today :)

Bad Experience

Pioneer Law Firm was very attentive while their initial upfront payments were being collected. Following that period they have ABANDONED me and never return phone calls. At times I have been on hold for nearly an hour only to receive empty promises that someone will return my call to address my case. For over a year they were telling me everything was on schedule, however they forgot to negotiate with one of my creditors. Now after payments for 48 months, I have no resolve. When I needed a lawyer, they declined to represent me, even though a retainer fee was being paid. What is the point of paying for services that are not actually accessible or available?In addition to the retainer fees, you will also be responsible for service costs, a monthly legal administrative fee, a monthly banking fee and delivery fees for payments made to creditors. I would not recommend this firm as they are unorganized, inefficient and misleading.

Difficulty getting up with an agent

I've had alot of difficulty resolving a problem I had with Wells Fargo, the representative I had would not return my calls. I've been dealing with this since May.I still have not received my graduation package or refund.

The Pioneer reps are always helpful and…

The Pioneer reps are always helpful and courteous when asking or providing account information and settlement details.I just wish the on-hold phone time during peak hours was faster in giving me the option for a call-back, as I had to wait over 10 minutes to get that option.

You will wait on hold forever

I have been waiting to fill this out because I have begun to lose faith in your company. I have had terrible success at contacting you and accomplishing goals. It took months and several calls to make a lump payment to you. I knew there might be a last payment because you could not guarantee a total. It was by shear luck I noticed there would be one last payment due to finish everything off and there was not enough in the escrow to cover that. Nobody contacted me or tried to set up for a last payment. I don't know what would have happened, but I bet I would have been completely screwed. As it was when I called (always a 45 minute hold to talk to a human) I was told there was no way you could receive the payment in time. After the operator conferred with a manager it was determined I should contact the final creditor and pay them directly. I tried and they were to busy to talk to me so I called you guys back (again 45+ minutes). The operator had no idea what could possibly be done and went again to a supervisor who said all I could do was deal directly with the creditor. I finally got to the creditor and they said they could not talk to me because you guys had power of attorney and they would not tell me anything else. Again I called you (again an over 45 minute wait for service) this time I got somebody who knew something (oddly enough not a supervisor) I believe his name was Kevin (I'm sure you can look it up as he was the last person in your organization I talked to). He contacted the creditor while I waited and helped make a direct transfer from my bank to them.I really fear I would have been hung out to dry if I hadn't noticed what was going on. You never tried to speed up payments to creditors when the money just sat there. I was charged monthly fees even in the last month when I had to do everything. I'm grateful for getting out of debt and I'm slowly on the road to getting a decent credit score back, but the customer service has been quite lacking. Kevin (or whoever it was) deserves a ton of recognition for saving me and getting you guys to 3 stars.

I truly appreciate the services…

I truly appreciate the services rendered from Pioneer Law Firm, especially with the condition my credit was in upon entering the program. The communication is top notch! It needs to be that way due to the stress and strain from the creditors who will use any kind of tactic to get you to pay full price. Thank you guys for working with me! My credit score is climbing and I appreciate that!

Mariah was very kind and helpful

Mariah was very kind and helpful. She has been the most helpful of all the reps we have spoken to in the last few weeks. Knowledgeable and efficient! Thank you!Although we called 3 times and were on hold for at least 25 minutes each time, it was refreshing to talk to someone who had our best interests at heart when we did finally get through. You people are tough to get a hold of.
