Great service and fantastic tree. Ordered a 13ft tree and looks amazing. Delivery was quick and the team are pleasant. Had tree up and displayed in less than 10mins. Will be using them again next year
I DO NOT RECOMMEND UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! This is the first time in my life I’ve had such a disgusting experience buying a Christmas tree. An absolute nightmare.I paid £87 for the tree! I booked delivery. They rescheduled it and didn’t even bother to notify me until I messaged them myself. Zero communication.In the end the tree arrived and it doesn’t even come close to the photo on their website. When we set it up, it turned out to be crooked. We have an excellent stand with metal supports half a meter long so the tree cannot lean. It turned out the trunk itself is warped.Well, I thought fine, I’ll take the net off and decorate it, maybe it’ll look better. But as soon as I removed the net I was shocked — this thing looked like a £20 tree at best. But I tried to stay calm.Once we decorated it, it still stood horribly crooked and looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. I understand there can be some difference, but in the photo you can see lots of trees and all of them are identical. I conclude those are not even their pictures!After a week of trying to fix it, even tying it with strings, I lost hope and decided to contact them to help me solve this.First I wrote on Facebook — no reply. Then I called. They claim to be open 24/7. I called around 8am and was thrown to voicemail. They never replied on Facebook.In the evening they finally picked up the phone and told me to write an email. What nonsense? What difference does it make where you respond? But fine. I emailed them, and they said they would replace the tree.I asked them to first send me a photo of the replacement tree — let me remind you, for £87 — so that I could make sure it would be acceptable. They replied that it was impossible because they are all wrapped in netting.What do you mean “all in netting”? So the trees that haven’t even been purchased yet are already cut and wrapped? And I can’t even choose my tree?Then they offered to refund 50% and I could keep this tree. I said I would, if only it were at least straight — but it’s not even worth £40. The tree is 7 ft. Last year I paid £50 for an 8 ft one. And this one is nowhere near worth what I paid.I asked them to refund 75%. Then they started writing personal excuses, saying they would be at a loss and they never do that, that usually they just replace trees… Is that my concern? If you cannot provide actual photos of your 7–8 ft trees, is that my problem?Then they started telling me I had set it up incorrectly. That was the last straw! I adore Christmas! I’ve never had issues with trees! Is this my first time buying a tree? First time setting one up? I’ve been putting up trees myself since I was 8! It is my favourite holiday!This store is absolutely awful! I will never return here again!!! The service is disgusting! Maybe some people don’t care—“a tree is a tree”—but I buy the most beautiful ones! I don’t recommend this place to anyone! They ruined my mood, Christmas itself, and I lost my money!Now I have to buy another one, because I will forever associate Christmas with this horrific store!!!You can find photos with my trees on google reviews
Beautiful Christmas tree, smells lovely. Delivered by 9am the next day after ordering on line. Great customer service and good value for money will use again next year
Wonderful Christmas tree and exceptional customer service. Used two years running now. They delivery to door and if there are any issues they are very proactive to resolve as they pride themselves on service.
This is the second year I've ordered from The Christmas Tree Firm and I have not been disappointed. Last year I ordered a 7 foot tree - it was delivered on time and was a wonderful tree. This year I ordered an "unloved" tree, which they market as not good enough for their premium label - I don't see why! The tree is gorgeous, I am very pleased with it. The tree was delivered on time on the day I requested and the delivery driver was lovely.Yes their website has a few spelling errors, this is inconsequential. The firm is a good firm, local to me (Cambridgeshire) and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a lovely tree at a decent price.
Ordered our Christmas tree months before delivery and it was booked to be delivered on Saturday 4th December.We received a badly spelt text message on the 2nd of December explaining the tree would now be delivered on Friday afternoon, the next day. How am I supposed to rearrange my plans with less than 24hours notice?When you are paying a premium fee, £65 for a 4ft-5ft tree, you honestly expect a bit better service than this.I sent 2 text messages and no one bothered to respond.Looks like I’ll be using Tesco where I can collect a 5ft-6ft tree for £25!Don’t waste your time with this company.
Do not order from them! They do not deliver in time and they try always to blame the customer! They always make excuses for not honoring the orders as confirmed by email! Terrible customer service as well!
