Please avoid this company. I requested an exit from the contract due to being double billed. They did not set up a proper payment system and then tried to claim i had not paid rent for an office when i had. I have full evidence of this and confronted them. One invoice was clearly marked paid and they requested i paid again. I suspected fraudulent activity and threatened to involve the police.
I purchased furniture from Walker Singleton’s online auction. When viewing it in person, the item had significant damage not shown in the listing. I also witnessed more damage being done in person. Despite providing photo evidence, they refused a refund and threatened to charge me for storage. I’ve since had to take legal action. I’d advise anyone considering bidding to view in person and exercise caution.
What an utter ridiculous group of people working for these cowboys! I'm surprised how they are.still operating, stay well away from these looney tunes.
Absolutely clueless and have no interest in their clients or potential clients. It took 4 phone calls and 4 emails to get the person dealing with one of their commercial properties, Fortune Nguwo, to actually make an appointment for us to view in the first place. He advised us at the appointment that the commercial let we were looking for could be completed within 7-14 days. We submitted our application and requested information the day after our appointment. We received no response from FN or any of his colleagues. We chased up our application on a number of occasions. We eventually got through to him and was told our application had been declined as our company was "insolvent" as it had a mortgage of £115k and a bank balance of £20k. The clueless employee of Walker Singleton had failed to take into account that the mortgage was on a property asset worth over £250k and therefore wasn't insolvent. When pointed out to him that you dont have a mortgage without having an asset mortgaged, he was having none of it. Absolutely clueless. Since the appointment we have found a property with another company, passed the credit checjs, signed our lease and moved in. Unsurprisingly, the property Walker Singleton is advertising is still vacant.
I have been trying to contact Luke Hartshorn for more than two months and all he does is ignores any of my emails and calls. Not professional and whenever I speak to him he just says "i will reply to your email this week" which never happened. I forwarded the emails to the London office, but it seems to be there also happy with the way Luke handles auctions. Not recommended at all.
Recently purchased a property that was marketed by Walker Singleton. The entire team were very helpful from start to finish and Gill, the sales progressor, was absolutely wonderful. She was busy dealing with all the little issues between solicitors quickly and reassuring myself (first time buyer) that whilst this was frustrating, these were perfectly normal things. Thank you ever so much!

Just read the previous reviews. Having worked in the Property Rentals business AND indeed personally involved (I rent my home!) Out of 2 properties rented? I would possibly have taken to sleeping in People's park in Halifax!HOWEVER! I am reviewing Walker Singleton for their PROWESS and ULTIMATE staff who run the Auctions side of Walker Singletons AUCTION DIVISION. Having used their services for several years now at Standing room only Auctions (Cor'BLIMEY! Remember them days??) And now? No viewing (Well there are viewing appointments. But I am not able to walk and so drive!) NO VIEWING? But also no problems Was left short on A collection by ' MY Man who does!' And he remarked 'It was like a CATTLE auction! So easy to miss a lot? But rang this morning to tell me they had found them. Realised who's they were and are delivering them to my chosen depository by Friday! So good job all around?!So all in all one VERY HAPPY buyer.
Awful thieves, never use these people they lie and deceive when it's time to hand the property back
