They deserve a lawsuit

They get you to sign up on an offer. Right away you find out that the offer did not include the "technology fee". And then 3 months in, they sent me an email that my rates are raised to triple the initial rate. TRIPLE. So it's abusive. I went on my account to disable autopay. There is no menu for any payment options, I can't even know which card is being used for auto pay. So I engaged in a chat with the bot. It gave me a link to manage my autopay settings. I click on the link and it goes to "page does not exist". It asks me if I want it to open the page for me, so I try that. It goes to the other account page with zero option to manage my payment account or see my invoices. It says that support is there on saturdays, 8-4pm EST. It's 11am EST and "no agents are available now, please try again when we are there". Luckily I made the smart choice of signing up for auto pay with a credit card that I use for no other payments. So I locked the card.

This company total scam

This company total scam. I rented a u it on the 3rd month my rent went from 179.00 to 300.00 dollers. i had that unit for over 9 months moved out mid month. No pro rate was givin back . Cannot speak with a agent all robot Ai service. Totally rob people DONT RENT FROM THEM!! This is why they build all over the nation there a sham. Dont get your hard earned money just taken from you

It all floated

Well, I'm native to Alamance County. I had to make a move so I needed storage space. I thought 10 Federal would be what I needed. So I got me a unit and stored some appliances, furniture,tools,and a few items that meant something to me. Paid the mandatory insurance. Then when Chantal came through,I knew it wasn't going to be good.I was out of town so I got the emails from 10 Federal .So I went to the facility and got to see what happened. I had a fridge that was on top of everything. All my belongings were done. Clothing full of mud, everything had mud. The smell was terrible. I walked away and told the crew I was done. Nothing salvageable. I know I probably signed away some rights that day. But the crew that was on site were very nice and friendly. Can't say that about their corporate peeps. Ok I'm done.

THE WORST storage facility!

This is a HORRIBLE storage facility!! The worst place ever. Moved in almost a month ago and the GATE open sometimes and doesn’t open at all! There is NO ONE on site at all, no humans to talk to on the phone, there is ZERO security!! I visited my unit today and it was open. Somebody removed the lock. I am getting my stuff out of there. Anyone can Steal whatever they wanted. It’s absolutely insane how they run their facilities. NEVER EVER RENT from them!! They don’t care one bit about NO locked gates!! They don’t care about you finding your unit open. Thank God I did not have any valuables in there.Their phone number gives you to an AI pretend person that can do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for you!!

First off all, how can your storage unit get broken into if u have to use a code for the door, the police said he has tried to call the company of several times and no one every return calls ..

Anyone could come in and break into our very expensive RV and LIVE in it!! Steal whatever they wanted. It’s absolutely insane how they run their facilities. NEVER EVER RENT from them!! They don’t care one bit about NO locked gates!! Their phone number gives you to an AI pretend person that can do NOTHING for you!!

They have zero customer support and…

They have zero customer support and service. When you finally do actually get hold of a live person they do not know anything, and told me we can escalate it to upper management, and they may or may not call you back. What kind of Mickey Mouse operation is going on here!

Affordable & Convenient

I rented a storage unit for 4 months @ the east park location in Valdosta for my daughter, from the comfort of my home in Macon. Not only was it easy & convenient the price was reasonable and no extra fees (even lock was free). I loved the 24-hour access and would definitely recommend.

I won auction on storage unit on…

I won auction on storage unit on saturday the 27th of this month, have tried 3 times to make payment and called over 6 times trying to get this payent made,,so far all i get is some guy saying, my payment is over $1000 dollars and it has to be approved and he will call me back,,,so far i have been told that 3 different times with no call back...This is really poor business, i do not know what is the hold up, but i very upset over this...

Scammers-Do not store your stuff here

After paying for a storage unit over the phone, they sent the access code via text. We went to store our stuff but the access code that they gave us would not work. So we called the number on the sign next to the access code keypad. The person that answered was rude and claimed that I didn't have an account, even though I had an account number from my emails and texts from this company. We never gain entry to the property and never used the storage unit. So, I emailed them to cancel our subscription. I also explained that I could not provide a picture of the 'clean, swept out' unit because we were never provided an access code that worked where we can gain entry to take said picture. It's been two months, and this company refuses to answer their phone. They will put me on hold and hang up on me. I have emailed them four times to cancel my subscription. I paid for services that I was never provided. Thank goodness that I paid with my credit card. I have disputed the original charge, and any other charges that they may try to debit from my card. Looking back, this company not only did not provide a service, but they outright tried to scam me. Stay far away from this company.

Im currently in college and I moved my…

Im currently in college and I moved my things into this storage back in May because I was going home for the summer when I came back I found that all of my things had been stolen out of my storage unit TV, PS5, Rice cooker, Airfryer, etc. I had to buy all new things and basically start from scratch. I have a claim submitted but they are really slow to respond even though I had insurance on the place.

Access through automated gates is a disaster

The storage unit was fine. Signing up was fine. The gate system is horrible, as is their complete lack of customer service. The QR code at the gate opens their web page, where you can press a button to open the gate, but usually nothing happens. So then you try messaging the number on the gate to open, you get a fairly quick response that says "the gate will open", which may happen in 1 minute or never. Meantime, you have people crawling up your butt waiting to get through the gate, honking their horn- a number of times we simply backed up and followed others through (if by chance they succeeded where we failed- some did) which clearly blows up any thoughts of being secure. The back gate at our location, which is the only entrance both Google or Apple maps show, was completely inoperable, entry or exit. The front entrance requires you do a u-turn in a 6-lane intersection to get in unless you want to drive a half mile past the facility and turn around in another business parking lot to come back- horrible site planning. The ONLY way to get through to customer service is to call as if you are a new customer- I've waited as long as 45 minutes for someone to answer otherwise. We moved out of 10FederalStorage, and strongly recommend against it, because access and customer service are a disaster.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. impossible to get through to anyone. Bait and switch on their rates and arbitrarily raised unit rent after just a few months to almost double. Impossible to reach anyone and chat option is worthless. If there is anywhere else go there.

10 FEDERAL IS A SCAMMY ROUNDABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND! BOTS EVERYWHERE, NO LIVE AGENTS EVERRR! DO NOT AGREE TO AUTOPAY BC THEY MAKE SURE YOU CAN NEVER CANCEL! BEWARE!!! I NEVER AGREED TO AUTOPAY WITH THEM ANYWAY, THEY BOUGHT THIS LOCATION FROM AN ACTUAL HONEST INDEPENDENT PERSON AND IT SUCKS NOW! ZERO STARS!!!

We recently had heavy rainfall here in Haw River NC and the whole storage u it’s were nearly underwater. I feel like they knew we were in a flood zone and the insurance they offered didn’t cover floods. I lost everything In my building washer and dryer unit, tv, majority of my clothes, pictures, shoes, artwork/art supplies and important documents. I feel like we should be compensated for something. There were many others that lost a lot. I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone rent unit from this location. Also have pictures

No onsite customer service at all

No onsite customer service at all! All access and documentation are managed autonomously through their online "Convenient Customer Portal." I had my unit for weeks and could not get the lock combo for the unit. Multiple 30 min+ phone calls and several emails went unanswered. Even during business hours there is literally no way to reach a live person to resolve any issues. I ended up requesting a refund terminating my contract. They did refund my rent promptly with no apology, explanation, or attempt to resolve. I only received automated emails. I cant imagine how difficult it would be to be made whole should something like theft, fire, or water damage happen to a unit.

The worst don't rent from them

The worst don't rent from them, they overcharge on auto pay, and less then 0 customer support if that's possible. I didn't even rent from them originally, they bought out the facility during a personal medical issue that put me out of state. Unfortunately I have called, emailed, and even let their automated phone system put me in their call back que. Guess what happened? 30 minute hold time with repetitive voice message playing every 10 seconds, no response via email, no call back, oh ya and their chat is a bot that won't get you too a live agent! Might be a scam organization laundering money who knows, doesn't seem to care about customers.

I thought I was paying for a secure…

I thought I was paying for a secure unit with 24 hour access and monitoring by security cameras, which is a complete lie. Both of my units were not only robbed but they were emptied. I lost over $60,000 in merchandise. When the police officers did their investigation, there were no cameras working for months so they were not able to obtain everything. This is a robber’s dream paradise. If you want to clean out units and be a thief with no repercussions federal 10 is where you wanna go. They don’t care they will not offer to help you. They will still continue to bill you. They do not care that you lost everything. This is the most unprofessional and horrible lying company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. If you want your stuff, do not store it here.

How I miss the previous owners

How I miss the previous owners. This company is out to get you. They raised the rent without notice. They charged me a late fee even though they have access to my credit card and they just charged me extra this month and no idea why!! They leave the gate completely open and vulnerable to theft. There’s absolutely no way to get a hold of a human being. It’s all digital, obviously for their convenience. Storage made easy is what they claim. I guess it is - just for them. I’d completely stay away.
